Lakefront Cottage on Webster Lake with Beautiful Sunsets, 2 bed, 1 bath

Nice place right on the water!

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary here and brought our boat. It was great fishing, great weather, and just the perfect little spot for us to relax and enjoy each other's company and the lake life. We talked about how with the bunk beds we could've brought our kids and thought about maybe returning another time to this cottage with our kids. The stairs to the water are very steep and numerous. A few are also not super flat and oddly spaced. We definitely got our exercise going up and down those stairs. They may not be very friendly to some people who are not as light on their feet or who can get winded easily.

This cottage was nicer than advertised. We had a great time. The cottage was clean, comfortable and everything worked! The ease to walk down to the dock and fish was a real plus. Communication was great, and I would certainly come back again.

Clean with a wonderful view. Host was accommodating when we decided to stay 2 extra days.

Wonderful weekend with grandchildren! Beautiful views of the lake. Perfect view of the fireworks!! The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Tons of storage for your clothes or items. House was extremely clean. Grand children loved playing on the Wii! They swam off the pier which was very shallow water. Perfect for them! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the cute house and quiet, pretty location.!Was so clean and stocked very well. Steps down to the water are very steep and old, so not good for someone with mobility issues. No ladder into water to swim, off of old pier. Screens/windows facing the lake were old, holes in them and many cobwebs , which decreased the enjoyment of looking out over the beautiful lake. We had to go outside. I ask for them to come clean them but they never came:(Luckily it was nice weather most of the time, so enjoyed sitting outside. There is a cool, old paddle boat ride available on the lake, (after the repairs are done) called Dixie.Overall we enjoyed our week!

Perfect size for a couple of friends enjoying fishing, hiking, and foraging for the weekend. Clean with beautiful views, and all the amenities that we needed.

Had a great time and enjoyed staying on property. My only gripe would be the stairs going down to the water were a bit steep and uneven at times.

This was perfect getaway for my husband and I. The house has all the necessities and more. Extremely clean, tastefully decorated. The porches have perfect views of Lake Webster.

Great little cottage with amazing views. Had everything we needed for a weekend away. Steps down to the lake could be challenging for older guests, fyi, but didn’t bother us.

We had a girls trip with 4 women. The cottage was clean and the view was amazing. The natural light in the main family room was incredible. It was a bit cozy for the 4 of us for sleeping but we made it work. The bathroom was pretty spacious. We had a wonderful stay!

Everything was as detailed as listed and we had a great stay on the lake. The view is amazing and Lois was very responsive. Instructions were seamless and I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay again. In the future.

Perfect for a small family over the weekend.

super clean cottage, everything was as stated in the vrbo ad, 3 window A/C units and several ceiling fans kept things cool, very nice and accommodating hosts. plenty of towels and linens, etc; fully stocked kitchen. Nice area and quiet street. only bummer is that shallow areas of lake are quite weedy.

We definitely recommend this super cozy home, perfect for a couple or small family. What I appreciated was how well the kitchen was stocked, plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, etc. and that the propane tank was full, so we enjoyed lots of grilling in the evenings. And the sunsets were gorgeous, a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Renting a pontoon from Socks Marina was super easy, and we had no trouble docking it at the home. And as I alluded to earlier, and for those worried about what to bring, the home really has all the necessities, there were plenty of towels, trash bags, dish detergent, and hand soap. Honestly the most stocked rental I’ve stayed at.

We had a great time at the lake house, we had a few rainy days but it allowed us to rest and recover from early and late night fishing.

Amazing location!! We rented a boat at the nearby marina and enjoyed the lake to the fullest!! Definitely recommend!!
