Stayed Oct 2, 2025We loved this house and the beautiful backyard. We enjoyed nightly fires in the firepit while watching sunsets and listening to the loons and owl. We took the canoe out to explore the little lake/pond. Overall a fabulous stay!!

Stayed Aug 18, 2025The house is beautiful, it was the perfect size and layout for us to enjoy time away from home and keep an eye on the kids. We did day trips from the house to Acadia (1hr) and then into town (15 minute drive). The kitchen had everything we needed which made it so easy to keep our routine with kids and not have to eat out at every meal.

Stayed Aug 5, 2025The property had linens, pots, pans, coffee, paper towels, almost everything you would need! We did have to grab some condiments, but there was so much available to us it was great.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025The home was absolutely beautiful !! It had everything we needed. Most well stocked and cleanest home we've ever stayed in. The lake is small and very quiet just as we like it. We ran out of propane and the owner was there within an hour with a new tank. Kim was wonderful to deal.with and very responsive. We also found out that restaurants in Bucksport close fairly early. May need to go to Bangor if you're looking for a nice dinner out. You'll need water shoes to get into the lake. It's quite rocky on the bottom and there is a small ledge of rocks you have to climb down to get into the water, kayak or canoe. Bring a good camera, the sunsets are gorgeous. We will definitely go back again !

Stayed Jun 25, 2025Great location and a really nice, new house! Beds are really comfortable too. The proximity to the pond/lake is amazing with great amenities!! To mention, it was really buggy (in the house) during our time in the Summer with ants, etc. and some of the dishes were less than clean also. Kind of strange to have the fridge half full of items too. Lastly, the only communication that I had with the host is included as a screenshot. Seemed like an odd response to a friendly request.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this amazing lakefront home. The place was beautiful and private – we enjoyed sitting by the water and relaxing in the peaceful outdoors, yet the house was close and convenient to town. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and Schoodic Point. The house was new and sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. Kim was very quick to respond to our messages. We look forward to returning again soon!
