I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house in a terrific location on the lake. We appreciated all the fans provided, it kept the house very pleasant. The fenced yard was perfect for the dog The only thing is the railings are in poor shape, splinters galore so be careful not to use them ( which defeats the purpose of having them). A really terrific house, we will be back!

Stayed Mar 9, 2024My husband, my daughter and I went to Big Bear for a family trip to celebrate my birthday. The location was perfect, right on the lake so my husband could fish while me and my daughter soaked in the hot tub. It's also very close distance to the Alpine Slide which we had a great time at. The views of the lake are incredible and can be seen from the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, blender, etc and the grocery store isn't too far of a drive. The photos of the second master suite doesn't do it justice. While it's seperated from the house, it's only a few stairs down. It's very spacious and nicely done. It has its own bathroom and sitting area and TV. Perfect if you are traveling with grandparents or if parents are traveling with older kids. The second master had a very comfy California king. They were flexible with early check in and late checkout which we appreciated for this quick 3 day trip. Why I rated 4 stars instead of 5: - there was a citywide power outage on arrival and the property manager did not do a great job of keeping us posted. It was a bit stressful but it did come back on after a few hours - the property sits on a hill so you have to be careful walking down to the water, the steps do not go all the way down so just use caution during the icy months - you have to take the jacuzzi cover all the way off in order to see the lake but once you do, it's not easy to get back on because of the hill

Stayed Jan 1, 2024Very nice place to go and enjoy the mountains. The management company was very friendly. Easy to check in and out. The place has also a separate suite that you can have friends or in-laws stay close but not in the same house. We will definitely go back Thank you
