Lake Whatcom Beach Resort

What a lovely, cozy spot to enjoy the holidays. The home was decorated for the holidays, sparkling clean, toasty warm and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed dipping in the lake with the hot tub at the ready. Would definitely recommend to friends and family or stay again!

Cozy, romantic getaway lake cabin ideal for two. The outdoor space and dock was perfect for a day picnic with family. We would rent here again!

The location on Lake Whatcom is beautiful, and the house/cabin is a light-filled and amazing restful space! We have never had a vacation rental so well-provisioned with every supply you need, and there are several amenities: hot tub, w/d, d/w, f/pl, full oven, and probably other items we did not take advantage of (rice cooker?, etc.). We only met 1 of the co-owners, Jane, who is friendly and very helpful/hospitable. We are probably shooting ourselves in the foot here, but we highly recommend this property, and mentioned to friends/family (and some came to visit while we were there), soooo, it might be unavailable-haha!

We had a wonderful time at the Lake Cabin when visiting for our daughter’s graduation. The home is very well equipped for cooking, swimming, hot tubbing, and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The yard was perfect for visiting with family, watching the sunset, and wading in the lake. Highly recommend!

Great property and lovely time

The hot tub was great, the view was amazing, and the dock was great! The house could use a deep clean (lots of cobwebs) and the road noise was consistent, but overall we would certainly stay again!

The view of the lake was fabulous! The home was so relaxing that we enjoyed just sitting in the living room soaking up the water view. The kitchen was well stocked and the host responded immediately with my questions about the internet. The beds and bedding were super comfy and the hot tub was very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the tulip festival next year!

Everything was incredible at Art and Jane's on the lake. We had a beautiful stay as we explored the surrounding single track mountain biking. The house was well appointed for cooking, relaxing, and recharging before heading out to do it all again. Highly suggest if you're looking in the area. Close to everything in Bellingham.

The house (cabin) was exactly what we needed for a few days rest and relaxation. First day it rained and we snuggled in by the fireplace. The second day we explored many of the fun places in and around Bellingham. We very much enjoyed the lovely lake view and the comfortable home.

We had a great stay here! The hot tub and views were amazing and the location was excellent. Would definitely come back again sometime!

The little details, like variety of scrubbing utinsils for dishes, not skid bath tub mat, binoculars, towels for hot tub. Easy communication. Very accommodating. The hot tub! Of course that is besides the beautiful view/area.

We returned to Bellingham to celebrate our 40th anniversary. This home and location were great. Even in the rain, the view of the lake was relaxing, and I still used the hot tub. It definitely has cabin vibes with rustic wood floors and bedroom balcony openings, except for one downstairs bedroom. The bed and furniture were comfortable, and it seemed like it had almost anything you would need for meals. We'd like to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor spaces more and dock.On the way there, we drove up Chuckanut Drive for a scenic drive, ate lunch at Chuckanut Manor for a view of the water and a yummy meal. We stopped at several galleries and did some shopping in Fairhaven. We visited friends in Sudden Valley and ate at the Mexican restaurant there. We visited friends in Ferndale, did some shopping in downtown Bellingham, and celebrated our anniversary at Anthony's Hearth Fire Grill on the waterfront. Everywhere we went was a pleasant drive.

Easy check in, easy check out, everything was great in between! We'll be back!

Hot tub was great!

Everything was lovely! So thankful for a space for our family together for a memorial service.

Much cleaner than last time and still all the usual amenities and very responsive management. It's so great being on the lake.

Second time we've stayed at Art and Janes lakefront house. Very well maintained and the view is fantastic.

Toilets were not clean (gross) so I had to clean them when I arrived. But the supplies needed were there and everything else was great.

This is perfect for a family who wants to enjoy the lake. Kayaking fishing etc. We love it.

House is right on the water ,driveway was a little challenging to back into. Plenty of room.Only draw back was windows did not open that faced the lake to let air into house. It was n the high 70’s outside and house was stuffy inside from lack air .

Very cozy and great design, reminded me of our home. Owners were amazing, friendly and very responsive. Will definitely be staying there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to restaurants, but far enough away to enjoy the tranquiity the lake offers. The cabin was well stocked with staples and everything you need for cooking. The hot tub was a wonderful end to the evening, as well as our nightly visit from the river otter near the dock. We would definitely stay there again.

This is such a great property that this is our sixth stay.

Quiet relaxing lakeside property with a hot tub

Really comfortable cabin on the lake. All the amenities you could need, surrounded by a picturesque Lake Whatcom. Such a great place to spend a weekend with family and friends. Close enough to town, a round of golf or two or to hit the local Mtb trails, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet and to chill out. Could not have been an easier check in and check out process as well. Will definitely be back!

Stay was great!!!! Perfect getaway!! Kitchen was well stocked, the home very clean, beautiful space for 6 and the lake was such a treat!!!!!!! Plenty of towels and amenities were perfect for our stay!!! Beautiful home thank you!!!!!!

We loved this cozy house, nestled up to Lake Whatcom. Even though the weather was grey and rainy, the gas fireplace added to the ambiance. I would love to stay again in warmer weather to fully enjoy the lovely outside deck, spa, and dock. It was a perfect location to stay while visiting relatives in Sudden Valley. It was roomy and could easily accommodate 6 adults. The hosts were very easy to work with and had kindly decorated for the holiday season. It was very clean and well equipped.

Perfect cabin. We loved the bed, decor, kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, and view. Unlike other Vrbo homes/condo, this place had plenty of towels too. Thanks for a lovely memorable stay!
