Our family has stayed at this home on the lake twice in the past two years and both times it has been fantastic. The home is furnished with all cooking equipment needed for our large family. We always love our stay here and my kids adore the location. The host was a pleasure to deal with. Very sweet! Definitely will be back.

We booked this beautiful lake house for my twins’ 17th birthday. It was amazing. The house was just as described. There was a storm that damaged the roof and had a tree down in the back, the owner was apologetic and said we could cancel. Absolutely not! The house was still housing and the lake still had water in it. We had a blast. We will definitely be back!

This would be a great summer vaction spot. Right on the lake. Very child friendly with babe gates available to use. I would definitely stay again.

Easy to find, easy to access, excellent view of Lake Malone. House was very comfortable with all the amenities you could want.

Hook and Fry provided a wonderful home for my family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Kim answered all my questions about kitchen supplies since we were cooking a large meal. She was so kind. I truly hope to return in the summer so that we can enjoy the patio and lake!

We recently spent a week at this beautiful lake front property. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The house and property were immaculate and stocked with everything needed. Kim was a perfect host. Communication with her throughout the entire process was above and beyond our expectations. If you are looking for the perfect get away, this is the property for you.

This weekend lake getaway was absolutely amazing. There’s so many awesome things about this property that I’m gunna hit the key items. 1) beds are soooo comfortable. 2) home was very clean. 3) host was absolutely amazing!!!!! They answered all of my questions so quickly and was there every step of the way. Very accommodating and was super helpful when suggesting things to do. 4) so many activities. The kayaks were so fun, the dock was clean and they had everything you needed from life jackets to flats for the lake. 5) amazing hosts ( again ) they didn’t have anyone checking in the morning we were supposed to leave so they offered us to stay as long as we wanted on our checkout day. This was such an amazing gesture and we appreciated it so much. All in all this is an amazing adorable lake house and I absolutely will be back.

Excellent location, beautiful property, very clean and amazing views. Be sure to understand the hidden fees (cleaning fee, host fee, taxes) before you book as they will add an additional $400- $500 to your trip.

Loved the view. Kayaking was great. Two living Rooms was nice so everyone could watch what they wanted. Rock formations were awesome. Also had fun at Malone State Park finding all the Malone statues.

We wanted a quiet, peaceful vacation where the only thing on the to-do list was to relax. Kim's home was perfect for what we needed this week. Everything was as advertised, the beds were comfy, the screened porch was a family favorite for games and watching sunsets. Watching my kids jump off the dock and leant how to kayak was my favorite part of the week. We came home rejuvenated and refreshed and could not have been happier with our stay.

For the second time, we enjoyed several days on beautiful Lake Malone. The house is set up perfectly for multiple families, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the screened in porch is the perfect space to play games, eat breakfast, and just take in the views. The lake itself is clean and perfect for swimming and boating. I cannot say enough about how great Kim, the host, has been. During both of our stays the communication has been clear, timely and flawless. She is friendly and helpful and genuinely cares if you have a good vacation. If you are looking for a quiet place to just enjoy family and friends, look no further! Hook and Fry is the place you’ve been searching for!

We stayed for a week at Kim's place. It was perfect for our family, including my teen son and college-aged daughter. Plenty of room to spread out. Internet was great - we were able to do some work while there, including a couple of video calls. We cooked each meal and had everything we needed. We rented a pontoon boat, and docked it right there. It was wonderful to just push off and spend the day on the lake. Everything was clean and Kim was so thoughtful to recommend restaurants, where to fish, and they type of bait. She was a great host and I highly recommend staying here. I hope we can come back soon.
