Lake Tranquility in Connestee Falls Located on Lake Wanteska - with Hot Tub

We had an enjoyable stay for spring break! Our kids had a great time playing in the water with the provided paddle board and kayaks. The view was beautiful and serene. What a wonderful home!

We had a wonderful week on lake Wanteska. The house is spacious and perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids.We spent hours swimming at the dock, using the paddle boards and kayaks or playing games indoors while looking out at the lake. Brevard is nearby especially using the Walnut Hollow exit from the neighborhood. We also enjoyed the playground at Lake Atagahi, the pickleball courts and community swimming pool. We’ve rented several different houses over the years on the lakes at Connestee Falls. This was absolutely our favorite. Everything from the fact that there weren’t any steps to negotiate in to the house or within the house, to the circular driveway that made getting in and out of the property easy with our four cars, to the fabulous view through many large, clean windows, to the so well equipped kitchen, to the immediate response from the owners when we had one small issue upon arrival, to the lovely dock with lots of fun water toys available (kayaks, paddle boards, floats). I could go on!! I have already booked it for next year!

Magnificently situated with view of mountains on the lake. Fully equipped and immaculate luxury home with all the accoutrements a guest could hope for. Perfect for my husband and I to enjoy hiking, pickleball, swimming, golf, SUPs, and just relaxing on the dock and soaking up the beautiful view and weather after a fun day.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house in Connestee. The home was peaceful, well stocked, and perfectly set up for both relaxation and family time. We especially loved the serene lake views, fishing, kayaking, and easy access to walking trails and pickleball. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It was a wonderful retreat. We would absolutely love to return.

If you like peace, quiet and beautiful views this is the place. Immaculate and clean inside with spacious rooms all on one floor! Three separate sets of steps heading down to the dock, as well as two other places on the property that are available for fishing or loading a kayak. The landscaping is very lovely and well maintained. You can tell they take pride and excellent care of the property. Rick was quick to respond for any needs or questions. Would definitely go back again.

Lovely lake view. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and having coffee. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of games and opportunities for entertainment, including ping pong! Hosts were helpful and communicative at every point.

Fabulous place with perfect lake views and access. The whole family including the dog loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Can’t say enough good things about how much we enjoyed our week here.

The home was immaculate, very well supplied, and has recently been renovated and decorated. It is very private and peaceful, with a lovely lake view. The master bedroom and bath are huge, but second bedroom does not have adjoining bath. The driveway is easily accessible for two cars and the garage is a huge plus! We enjoyed using the SUPs on the lake. Thanks for hosting us.

We enjoyed our week stay. Nice to have community amenities and a clean lake! We brought our float mat which was fun to chill in on the water :)

The house and views of the lake were amazing. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Tranquility! The neighborhood amenities were great, the hiking trails were fantastic, and the house was clean and comfortable.

House was great for our family of 4 (yes it can sleep a lot more). The paddle boards and kayaks were used every day we were there; a much appreciated addition to the rental. They do need to be cleaned out of spiders every day before use (it’s the woods and a covered area, should be expected).With rainy weather while we were there it was perfect, fewer people and still getting warm sun most of the day while we were there. We did have an issue with the fridge no longer cooling on our second to last day there (Saturday). The owner was very responsive and offered a partial refund since it would be Monday after we left before anyone could come service it (we didn’t take it, one day with no fridge isn’t a huge deal for us). We will absolutely be coming back, hopefully the positive reviews don’t make it impossible to book in the future

You cannot find a more peaceful location than this house. Located on a very calm lake, set in the midst of beautiful mountains, it feels like the setting is from a movie. Most days we had the lake totally to ourselves, and enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking. The house was super clean, had amazing views of the lake, and lots of space in the kitchen, living, game room areas for hanging out with family. We also had a chance to visit the neighborhood pool, which has a dedicated lane for swimming laps. Downtown Brevard is super cute, and has some great restaurants. The owners are super responsive and committed to providing a great experience. We will definitely be returning!

We absolutely loved this home! Celebrated two birthdays here with family and the house accommodated us all wonderfully. The kitchen and eating area is perfect for a larger group to gather and connect. The location of the home on the lake is ideal and the home itself is beautiful - well maintained (even updated with a new Master Bath!) and very well stocked with all that you need for an enjoyable stay. Every morning we watched the sunrise from either the deck overlooking the lake or from right inside in the two reclining chairs overlooking the lake. What an amazing way to start the day! Rick and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. We will definitely return!!

My family has been visiting the Brevard area for 14 years and our stay at Lake Tranquility was by far the best. Rick provided everything we needed from the time of booking to check out. The location can’t be beat and the house is beautiful and well equipped.

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as we remembered. The lake view from the living room is what called us back. Loved the location and all the amenities that Connestee Falls had to offer. Quaint downtown Brevard was only 15 min away for some great shopping and dining. Communication was great with the hosts leading up to the trip! Would highly recommend if you’re wanting a peaceful relaxing vacation! I’m sure we will be back again in the future.

What a lovely home in a beautiful setting. A great place to relax, enjoy the lake and the views. We even saw a white squirrel!
