Lake Toxaway Estates/Walk to Marina!

Just a short drive to the Lake—this was a great place. We couldn’t have enjoyed ourself more—a much needed family vacation!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The accommodations met all of our needs and was very comfortable. The host was prompt and friendly responding to questions. Overall we had a wonderful time!

while the home itself could be really nice, the experience was disappointing. The Towels are worn and bleach stained. The mattresses were saggy and thin. The pillows were flat. There were old used slippers and muddy boots in the closet. The bath mats were dark brown and dingy. There was opened jam in the fridge as well as a jar of someone else's garlic. There was dog hair on the comforter. Two of the adults in the group left to go to a nearby hotel, knowing they wouldn't get any rest on those beds. With new towels, better sheets and new mattresses the home could be really nice. It is very spacious. The family room is comfortable and the dining table is good for groups. The driveway is not for the faint of heart but we got used to it. However, we cannot recommend this home. The owner did say she would have sent a cleaning crew, which was nice, but that wont get us crisp towels and new bedding, plus we were busy there for a wedding, so we didn't have time to deal with navigating phone calls. We just sucked it up, but wanted to let others know.

Perfect for 8 people! Very close to Greystone and country club.

We love staying at Karen and Keith’s home! It is accessible to so many of the amenities Lake Toxaway has to offer. The outdoor living area is outstanding! We loved eating dinner on the porch and watching the birds. The house is clean, stocked, and comfortable! We hope to be back soon!

Great location. Quiet atmosphere. Peaceful. Warm home. Perfect proximity to the Greystone for a family wedding weekend.

House was fine and we had a great time. The downstairs bedroom was a little disappointing. We could not find a coffee maker - only Kuereg (sp?) but we didn’t bring that kind of coffee and there were no Kuereg pods we could find. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay. Great location with plenty of space

The house was large and comfortably fit 8 adults traveling for a wedding. The house had all of the amenities and a great location to the lake. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars was the number of inch worms that were found everywhere throughout the house but particularly in the basement bedroom

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The views were amazing and the house is a short walk to the lake. We look forward to a return trip.
