Step outside to the sheltered patio, outdoor fireplace, and spa pool area, and the twinkling lights of the township.

Master Wing: King bed, ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and private office

Self-Catering: Only initial supplies provided (toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, tea, coffee), guest supply their own on extended stays. Bedding and Towels are provided, but please bring your own beach/lake towels.

Guests have full access to the main house, including exclusive use of the backyard and spa pool.

Please Note: The laundry is a shared space used by guests staying in the separate Hideaway Apartment (a private 1-bedroom self-contained unit located above the garage). The Hideaway Apartment has its own private entrance via the laundry. You can book the entire property (main house + Hideaway Apartment) under our other listing: “Lake Taupō Luxury Home + Hideaway Apartment.”

There is no guest access to the garage.

Lake Taupo Luxury Views is nestled in one of the most prestigious developments overlooking Lake Taupo at the end of a private cul-de-sac. With a rural sized section and an acre of land, the high-end neighbouring properties are far enough away to offer privacy during your stay.

Just moments away, L’Arté Café & Gallery (1-minute drive or 10-minute walk) offers artisan food, a creative gallery, and a beautiful sculpture garden. The Bay Bar & Brasserie and a convenience store are only 4 minutes drive away, while Taupo’s vibrant township, with its lakeside walks, boutiques, and dining, is just a 10-minute drive.

Explore iconic local attractions including Huka Falls, geothermal parks, lake cruises, hot pools, biking trails, and adventure activities. For alpine enthusiasts, Mount Ruapehu, with skiing, snowboarding, and stunning volcanic scenery, is just 1.5 hours from the property.

We have 4 security cameras around the outside of the property and 1 camera at the front door. All cameras face outwards and there are none inside the building. The cameras must not be removed, covered, or adjusted at any time.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to fill out our check-in form where you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
By booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in our Rental Policy and agree to follow our HOUSE RULES:

- Check-out by your agreed time
- Respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after 9pm

- The primary guest making the booking must be at least 25 years old and staying at the property for the duration of the reservation.

    Great location a little outside of town. Clean, comfortable and well stocked, and there was a guide book with a wealth of information. This would be a great location for a larger group, and there's an additional apartment attached that you could also rent to expand your numbers. The only thing we could have hoped for was better weather during our time there. :)

    This house had plenty of room for our large family. It is in a great location away from the crowds of Taupō but only a short drive to town for food and entertainment. Beautiful views of the lake and surroundings! Highly recommended!!!

    Excellent property. Relaxed and warm atmosphere. Highlights were the hot tub on frosty mornings. And the outside fire setting on cool evenings. Kitchenwell resourced.. Would definitely return in similar circumstances.

    Fabulous property in a great location. We enjoyed three days of stunning weather and being close to Acacia Bay meant we could enjoy being lakeside for most of the day, with the added bonus of coming back for a soak in the hot tub and a deep sleep in the luxurious beds. My youngest son thought it was the best house he's ever stayed in!! We loved it and will definitely be back.
