Everything was perfect and would love to return!

The house is perfect for having a large family. The problem we had was with power outages. The owners can’t control this obviously but I would suggest a back up generator system that is tied into propane. I have no idea how often this happens but that would solve the problem. We enjoyed our stay but the power problem really messed with our cooking plans.

We stayed at Lakeview Lodge over Thanksgiving week with 13 people (adults 9 adults and four kids age newborn - 13). The house was perfect for us! The kitchen was large and very well equipped - we cooked our entire thanksgiving dinner there. The house was very spacious with plenty of room and seating for everybody. It was also nice to have various family rooms so people could spread out and do different activities throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this house again. Joe was also a wonderful host - very communicative and gave us all the information we needed upfront. Highly recommend for a Lake Tahoe stay!

Our group of 14 gathered every evening for a home cooked meal. We had everything we needed to prepare and serve for the group. We used the outdoor grill one night too.We have come to Lake Tahoe for a family week for many years now and this is our favorite place to stay.

The house was perfect for our family reunion and in great location

It was a great stay at the Lakeview lodge. Great space for a large group. Hope was very clean and had everything we needed. Close to the beach and great hikes and walks!

We were not too familiar with North Shore, but Joe ( house host) sent us additional information on areas and activities that we wanted to include on our vacation, so when we arrived we already had activities planned, ( North Shore is now our favorite) when we arrived it was just right off the main road easy to find. The house is beautiful. Well maintained and clean. There is 3 levels to the home. Main access through garage has a perfect area for large family to hang out while BBQing or cooking. I love the gas stove, and kitchen has all your kitchen needs. There was a few coffee filters ( so remember to pack a few). There is also a Keurig coffee pot. The patio out the main floor has a propane BBQ very well maintained and clean. The space was beautiful with fantastic views of the lake. Spent most of my time out there. The master bedroom is located on main floor along with living area, mud room, and office. Master bedroom also had wonderful views of lake. Second floor was amazing. Another living area that also has a walk out patio with great views. Plenty of space 6 bedrooms. Family had plenty of room and very comfortable beds. I believe there was 3 bathrooms and a laundry room. The third floor had a pool table and had doors to yet another patio that has a hot tub. The house was perfect for our large family. Plenty of space and beautiful. The house is located a few minutes away from Meeks Bay resort: large Sandy Beach area.Also Boat rentals and restaurants

The house was large enough for a group with kids and had all the right amenities. It was an easy drive to skiing with a beautiful view of the lake!

Our group had an amazing time at Joe and Jane's lodge. It was my first time booking a property using VRBO and Joe was communicative and helpful as we navigated through the process. The house is stunning and provided plenty of space for our group of 13 adults and 2 children to relax and have fun. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped for sharing meals. Having a hot tub, pool table, telescope, and board games made the stay extra fun! The location worked well for skiing and snowboarding at Palisades, snowshoeing and hiking at Sugar Pine State Park (the Park offers free snowshoeing tours on Saturdays!), and visiting Tahoe City. The only thing we struggled with was parking - there are four spots at the lodge. We had more cars than that and overnight parking in Tahoe is challenging. We reserved a campsite at Sugar Pine and parked the extra cars there. Everything was top notch and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

From Joe to the property, our whole stay was absolutely wonderful and very welcoming. Very Clean and Comfortable. Love the Tahoe area and your rental made our stay that more special. We had our family for Thanksgiving and then our friends came the 2nd half of our stay and great memories made. Thank you Joe!

This is a great family home…plenty of room for all! We really enjoyed meals on the deck enjoying that beautiful view. The owner was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The home was very clean and comfortable! From grandparents, adult kids, teenagers, young children to babies…everyone had a wonderful time and lots of space to hang out in!

This is a beautiful custom home that comfortably accommodated our group of 4 children and 8 adults. The deck offers lots of seating with lake views and a good size BBQ for preparing large dinners. The kitchen provides everything needed to prepare and present meals for a large group. The furnishings are mountain themed and comfortable. The manager/owner is very responsive to questions and any problems that might arise. Highly recommend this house for location too.

Joe’s place is amazing! The location is perfect, a short walk to Meeks Bay and the south end of the West Shore Bike Path, and a short drive to many restaurants, markets, and shops. The view from the house was breathtaking and the house had everything we could want to feel completely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked (we cooked most meals) and the beach chairs are a great addition! Joe was an excellent host exhibiting excellent communication and easy check in. We had 8 adults and 5 children and had more than enough room to spread out and have a comfortable stay. Book this place you won’t be disappointed!

we had our entire family, 14 of us, 5 children and 9 adults and had a terrific time. everything about this house was just perfect. Joe, the owner, could not have been more helpful during the entire process. our stay was delightful and we would recommend anyone and their family stay at this beautiful home. we loved the location and went to Meeks Bay 3 times while we were there. Joe had beach chairs and umbrellas which came in very handy. there are 3 ice chest that can help your stay. We will miss not being there but look forward to coming back. John

As advertised. Great bonding time with family.

We had an excellent time at the cabin. We had 15 guests to celebrate our moms 70th birthday. The sunrises were incredible. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and for many members of the family the fancy kitchen they had cooked in. The bear mats made some uncomfortable but we understood the safety. The lower level rooms did get warm especially where the bunk beds are so a fan would have been nice if the windows couldn’t be open. There is plenty to do around the area and our hosts were helpful in pointing out great spots to go to that were not as crowded with tourists-Like hike the falls. Thank you for opening your home to us! A perfect birthday for our mom!
