Lake Placid Hillcrest Haven - Sleeps 14 - 1 block to Main Street

Perfect family home for our family ski weekend. Welcoming and cozy. Large enough to gather together and yet there were some spots to sit back and relax. The Owner and Caretaker were helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Great and as advertised! This house is very spacious and rustic, and very walkable to downtown. We loved the hot tub and the large driveway for all of us to park.

Actually I had to call for some ice melt. The driveway was an awful mess and hard to drive up. We had to do considerable shoveling. There were no paper towels(not really a problem) but the drip coffee maker was NG. The Mr. Coffee needs to be replaced. The house was amazing, beautiful big rooms and plenty of space. The walk to Main Street was perfect. Despite the problem with the driveway the weekend was wonderful.

Bob was lightening fast communicator. His house was loacated perfectly for our friends ski trip. It comfortably fit 6 adults and 6 kids. The hot tub out back was a great foninsh for a day on the slopes. Walking distance to down town lake placid dining and shops. Loved our stay.

We were there for a wedding . We loved lake placid!! I think the house could use a bit more everyday supplies other than that it was an Awesome time.

We loved the house and location! It was so beautiful inside with so many original details and charm. It was a perfect size for our large group and we never had any issues with room to hang out or use of a bathroom! The location was absolutely perfect. Right downtown. My only issue would be with the dampness of the home. My father in law has asthma and had some trouble until we opened all of the windows to air out the house. Would just suggest maybe airing out the house before guests arrive? A better dehumidifier system would go a long way to solve this issue! But really that is a small complaint for an otherwise fabulous house. Would stay again!

Stayed for ski weekend. Used the shuttle sometimes to get to from the mountain. Very convenient. Spent some time seeing the sites. Went to ski jump area. Highly recommend. Saw actual jumps in action. Awesome.

House is great but would recommend a couple things. Need new bedding and towels. House is old but really cozy and handled our crowd well. Also would recommend a little more in kitchen bath supplies or state they are not covered. Overall great lication and great experience for us

This is our second Thanksgiving staying in this wonderful house. It is in a perfect location to access shopping, restaurants, and any outdoor activities you might be interested in. There is also plenty of space, we are a family of 10 and never feel crowded. I highly recommend.

Hillcrest was a great space to host our multi-generational family. The house is a bit rustic and can use some repairs but the space and location were great.

This was a great place for us! Super convenient, comfortable, lots of space for gathering but also easy to get away if you need peace and quiet. Bob was very responsive, although we really didn't need anything -- everything was ready for us. Would definitely stay there again.
