Lake Placid Chalet: Deck & Forest Views!

Charming, warm chalet that was perfect for a quick thanksgiving get away. Snow throughout the holiday was a bonus. The gas fireplace in living room was wonderful and the house has everything you’d need. Never got a chance to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit, maybe next time!

Great house with complete amenities.... felt like home sweet home

The house was in a great location. The fireplace was very nice and was used a lot! It wasn’t very clean when we arrived and we needed to run the dishes through the dishwasher. We also had to wash some of the sheets when arrived. Lots of dust throughout the house which made us think it hadnt been cleaned in awhile! Beautiful spot.Thankful to be able to have our well behaved dog come with us!

The LP Chalet house was perfect for our extended weekend with friends. We love this location as it’s close enough to town but gives you that off the path feel (especially if you come in on the dirt road lol).House was neat and everything was as described. John was great with communication. We hope to enjoy the home again in the future.

Close to Lake Placid but off the beaten path. Perfect house for a girls weekend!

Grandson was playing in CanAm hockey tournament so we needed a place to stay. I found this property and it was an excellent choice for our trip. House was located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. The only draw back was cable was basic subscription and tv wasn’t able to stream our apps we have oh well Great host and spot.

The chalet had everything we needed for our Christmas visit. It even came with 5 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. The house was clean upon entering and very cozy to stay in. We loved the spiral staircase, heading up to the second floor. The fact that it had two bathrooms was great. The house was located on a very quiet road with access to some hiking trails close by. Very easy access to Lake Placid, white face, and some hiking. Loved the fact that it was pet friendly as we enjoy traveling with our four legged friends. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. The living room was very cozy with a gas fireplace setting the tone. The owner even provided K cups for the coffee maker, which was a nice little add-on. Will definitely come back to stay again.

Overall it was a good stay. Enjoyed the quiet space, The heated fire place was so nice. The day we were checking out moved furniture to clean floor. Found lots of debris that was not ours. Dont think it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Smashed water bottle under couch (we dont drink bottled water). Lost sock under upstairs bed. Vaccuum was very full and had not been emptied in quite some time. Few pots and pans dirty and rewashed. I would like to ask if someone could check linens put in laundry room for dog toy, large carrot. Have a pubby that is missing his toy. We do have a friend that lives nearby that could pick it up. Thank you

The cabin was a lovely spot for 6 of us (ranging in age from 25 to 78). The screen porch and fire pit were favorites to gather! We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and the serene surroundings after our days of exploring and sightseeing. John was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful stay and look forward to another stay in the future!

Charming Adirondack cabin that is very cozy and a great location. Easy access to mountain bike trails at Craig’s Woods. Thoroughly enjoyed indoor gas fireplace and had a campfire outside as well. Very grateful that it is pet friendly and look forward to our next visit.
