Lake Nokomis Retreat

this place was perfect for the six of us - a lot of room for our stuff in the garage - ample supplies in the kitchen - we could not have picked a better place.

Decided at the last min to book a long weekend before school started for our 10 and 6 year old. Michele and Jerry’s place was perfect. Ample room both inside and out, great kitchen supplies, love the fire pit outside and use of the grill. Communication was easy and very helpful when looking for places to eat and navigating the lake by boat. Neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. Surrounding areas were easily accessible. Great place to stay whether you’ll be spending a lot of time at the rental or have off site activities planned. We would definitely book again!

Was impressed with our “weekend home”. There were 6 of us staying - all adults and plenty of room for us all. Was surprised just how well stocked everything was - can’t think of a thing we needed that wasn’t supplied. We felt “at home” almost immediately…..SO much nicer than staying at a hotel. Would definitely book again!

Our family of four had a great time relaxing and playing at this clean, comfortable, well-maintained and nicely updated property! It was a pleasure to cook in the well-outfitted kitchen, and hang out together in the open family room and downstairs den. The firepit and quiet neighborhood were wonderful, too.

The property was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. It was even better than described and shown in the pictures and was spacious for our family of 6. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We would definitely book the house again when coming to the area!

The property was more than we actually expected the cleanliness location and all the amenities were exactly how they were listed we were quite surprised of the neighborhood which was overly beautiful! The only thing for us would be to be actually on the lakefront but we were across the street in the view was still beautiful We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

We were able to book this property with short notice, after the cabin we reserved in Feb. was sold and our reservation was canceled. This turned out to be a blessing because this property met our every need (except a beach, but we didn’t miss it). It was spacious, clean and well equipped! Nights by the fire, under the stars, with family, priceless!

This cabin is about 25 minutes from from where I have been deer hunting for the last 40 years. The house worked out very well for the 5 of us. We spent a lot of time in the garage so we could social distance. Hunting could have been better, we only got 1 deer for the 5 of us. We may try to book your house again next year. We need to see what happens with Covid19.
