Stayed Jul 1, 2025The house was great. The Fourth of July was so much fun sitting on the porch watching the fireworks. And the parade was a short walk away.

Stayed May 26, 2025The town of Bigfork is very nice and hospitable. The house has lots of potential, but the entry and exterior need maintenance and upgrades. In a house that depends on opening and closing the windows during warm days, as there is no air conditioning, the house does not work. Screens are old and torn and the wood framed windows, are difficult to slide open. The deck and entry stairs were dusty and dirty. The pots and pans were in poor shape. The vacasa staff were very helpful and did the best to make things work. They responded quickly and cleaned the deck and lubricated the windows track for a temp fix. Would stay there again.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025This property was about what we expected. Very clean, good communication about check-in. We recommend more instructions about how to turn up the heat and as written by others, it is a dark property.

Stayed Sep 9, 2024Liked the house. Very roomy and well equipped. Was on a noisy road so wasn’t able to enjoy deck. House was nice although downstairs bath was very small. House was clean and comfortable

Stayed Sep 15, 2024Very comfortable home and such a nice deck to relax on while looking at the lake. More rooms and space than we needed but could easily accommodate a family! (And we recommended to a friend who lives near for her family to stay at when they come to visit). Such a good location for things we wanted to experience.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Let me clarify by saying we were at this property for a month so some things may have been amplified because of the length of time. The best thing about this house was that it was close (walkable if you can walk 1 mile round trip) to downtown. That being said, it is on a busy road and we were awakened by semi trucks engine braking every morning around 6 am. The traffic noise is loud enough that you can’t really enjoy sitting on the patio by the fire pit. Speaking of the fire pit and the grill…there was no propane in either tank so we had to pay to fill the tanks to use the grill and the fire pit. I expect a property to provide full tanks for those “amenities “. The house is VERY dark. Don’t be fooled by the photos. Even with every blind open, and all the lights on, the house is dark. There are about 5 different shades of light from the bulbs throughout the house so that’s also annoying. There were no tissues in the house. There was a huge stain on the carpet in the basement bedroom. The basement bedroom is the only bedroom with a king bed. The main floor bedroom (master) is a queen bed. There were multiplies of furniture that were broken upon our arrival. The management company was so unorganized we got messages saying they could do something, then saying they couldn’t back to saying they could. The basement bathroom is VERY small. A larger person wouldn’t be able to comfortably shower. By larger, I mean over 6’ and 200 lbs. I do not recommend this house,

Stayed Jul 30, 2024Called Vacasa to have the propane tank on the grill filled/exchanged for the second day (empty when we arrived) of our stay and it was never filled. The fire pit tank went empty on the second night as well.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024We were in the Big Fork area for a week for a family reunion. The house was in a great location for meeting up with family. The house was great but the management company,Vacasa was not very helpful. Took 4 days and multiple phone calls and text messages to get a working coffee pot. Was given multiple stories about when a working coffee pot would be delivered and finally on day 4 of our 7 day stay one was delivered (at 5:30 pm).

Stayed Jun 20, 2024We booked this home for a wedding we attended. The home is well appointed and there’s a view of the lake from the balcony. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and was a welcome retreat at the end of each busy day. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the screened in porch. We felt safe and secure here and would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area again.
