Stayed Sep 12, 2025Not the cleanest and found less than desirable evidence of uncleanliness as our stay progressed. Location is beautiful on a small lake, but is right next to a highway. The uncleanliness and lack of upkeep was unfortunate, but overall still enjoyed the north woods and short driving distance to downtown.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025The property’s location is excellent. Close to grocery stores, lake minocquoa, bear skin trail head. The kitchen has many items you may need and a spacious fridge/freezer. There is a pub you can boat to in lake Curtis but the lake does not allow for motorized boats (lake is quite small). Fun for young kids and playing around. The fire pit outside is nicely setup. The host was responsive when there were concerns.

Stayed Aug 12, 2025Overall, the rental was pretty good. The bad: We did have an issue when we first arrived, but we were able to put a bandaid on it for the week we were there. Luckily we had 3 handy guys on the trip that could temporarily fix it. The owner compensated us for that. I expected the house to be more secluded however, the neighbors on either side were very close. Also, the house was overall clean but the floors needed swept and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Now the good: The lake view was gorgeous and we loved the dock and boats. We fished, swam and kayaked. The back porch had amazing scenery/views in the morning. The house was big and comfortable and had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Different beds had different mattresses so all I can review is the master. I need that mattress! It was so comfortable, I haven't slept that well in ages. Some rooms got a little warm but there were fans and it was bearable. That being said, we always run a litte hot so it could have been just us. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The house was well stocked with essentials and some extras. I do recommend this rental as a nice getaway.

Stayed Aug 7, 2025There was plenty of entertainment available right at the house, as we had one rainy day, so kids played pool, darts, air hockey and foosball. Televisions are large and new. There was plenty of bath towels, wash cloths, shower supplies. there was ample cleaning supplies in the kitchen. The view was perfect, only sad that all the boats weren't working.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We enjoyed our Minocqua stay! The lake is gorgeous and house holds up to all the pictures shown. Lots of little touches made our stay extra easy: coffee k-cups, tons of towels, extra roll away beds that can be placed in the closets of the bedrooms to help, plenty of fans to keep the bedrooms cooler. The kayaks were so fun to use out on the lake but the paddleboad's rudder wasn't working. Easy fishing from the dock was a great bonus too.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025Easy water access in a beautiful location- close to the highway for quick trips to town and the grocery store. The house was very well stocked and appreciated all of the helpful labeling and cots to help configure sleeping as we needed. Our group enjoyed the kayaks and evening fires outside.

Stayed Apr 21, 2025Traveling with a group of our church youth to a student competition, we needed a place to spend the night. This house was EVERYTHING I dreamed it would be. With plenty of space, lots of activities to let the teens relax after a long road trip, and very nice layout! We loved it! Super comfortable and reasonably priced.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024The house was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, plenty of paper products including toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. There were areas of the house that could have been cleaned better. The kids enjoyed the lake swimming, kayaking, and fishing. They were able to catch fish right from the dock. Location is secluded but yet close to many things to do.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024House on the inside was nice enough,except for the many levels of stairs. Going up and down was hard on the knees for older people. Railings would be nice. Bathtub needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. Water filter on fridge needs to be changed. Outside the house could have been nicer if the entrance to the door would have been cleaned off with a leaf blower quickly. A good first impression is very important. Also, putting a railing by the steps to the lake would also have been nice. The property is close to the Wildwood Zoo and Minocqua. And Sheri's Pub and Grub was a nice place to wait until check in time. We had fun with the paddle boat, kayaks, pool table. If certain things get addressed, the stay will be much better.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024Some areas inside were clean but many areas have been neglected. Truthfully the place needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. Mice poop inside and outside on the front porch, bags of discarded dog poop left by the stairs in the back yard. A window in one of the bedrooms didn’t close all the way. The place is extremely over priced for what it had to offer.
