What does Michigan’s Sunrise Coast Have to Offer

It was very beautiful and clean private had the beach to ourselves
Nice partial section of main house. I rented both the house and suite, which did feel more private. A door wall allowed the quiet part of the family to be separate from the side with children.
The suite we rented was clean and comfortable. Cozy bed. We enjoyed exploring the area and were lucky enough to stumble on a fine art fair in Lexington. We enjoyed our time there. Of course the lake was beautiful.
The house is like staying at home. The house is comfortable and cozy.
It's hard to find a place to stay for just one night (especially one that accommodates pets!), but this was perfect for a short trip to pick up one of our kids that was at a local camp. Beds were comfortable and it was nice having a private sandy beach, which is hard to find on Lake Huron. We had a lovely trip!
We had a pleasant stay. Thank you. Well done.
Beautiful beach! For those that stay in the suite, make sure to bring utensils to cook/eat with. It’s essentially like camping which is fine - but the suite didn’t have utensils as typical for a rental, but probably an oversight with the description. Dog friendly but sad he wasn’t allowed to swim. Parking a bit confusing but a relative of the property manger was there to ensure everyone was where they were to supposed to be & monitored the beach as well. Very clean & cute.
Very cute and easy to find. The beach was nice but it is part of a larger house. The living room is only seperated from the other guests by a locked sliding barn door. We could see their lights on through the door and hear every sound they made, so they could hear every sound we made. We were more concerned about the volume of the tv than actually enjoying ourselves. Luckily they were very nice people.
Host was flexible with checkin and communicated regularly leading up to our reservation.
We stayed for two nights during a road trip thru mid Michigan. The location on a private beach was excellent, and the host and company definitely took care of us. Restaurants and other beaches close by. Very enjoyable and would stay at the property again. 5 star.
Cozy, clean and stocked with board games. Lake Huron, the beach and fire pit were amazing. Enjoyed the colors of fall. Loved that our fur babies could join us!
We rented the small side of the house with 1 bedroom. It is as the pictures are, small area with no kitchen, just a microwave and small fridge. Shower and bathroom are both small. It worked perfectly for my husband and I, but glad the kids stayed home as it would’ve been to crowded. We both enjoyed our stay and the beautiful lake.
Smooth, professional, attentive process. Simply perfect. Everything you need and more. Felt like home away from home. Clean & comfortable. It's the little things....the special touches made this a most excellent stay.
All good, pay close attention to listing
Great find for our stay! We had a lot of family to visit so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach and lake as much as we hoped. We did get up and sit on the swing while we enjoyed our morning coffee. The suite was clean, the bed was comfortable and shower was hot! Exactly what we were looking for during our stay. Diana was great with communication, and even called to make sure I didn’t have any questions. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the property!
Very nice
This property was a great stopover to our ultimate destination. I just wish we could have stayed longer than16 hours.
The lodgings were comfortable, clean, and accurately described - everything was as promised, and the owner was super responsive and helpful in communication. A great experience.
Nice place. Great location. Just far enough from home to feel like a getaway.
My parents and I went on a last second trip to Lakeport and we were looking for a nice location by the lake, and this was the best place for that! The home was pet friendly and super clean. You can’t beat the location… A short hike down to the beach and you have so much space to yourself on a beautiful clean and sandy beach. The owner was very sweet and incredible with communication. When I had some technological issues she was understanding and patient. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! FYI there might be some sportiness in cell phone service, and you might be able to hear some neighbors, but it’s worth it for the overall stay. Thanks so much for having us!!
Perfect place for a quick getaway on the lake. Suite was nicely decorated and clean. Loved the private beach. Would visit again!
Very clean, beautiful Lake and close to amenities
The suite was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Had everything we needed.
The suite is part of an older resort. The suite itself is old school but clean and functional. It would be great if the property had a new mattress. The one we slept on was not comfortable. However, if you love to swim or sunbathe, you can stay all day on the beach. Curly, our golden retriever was very comfortable when we were away. The water quality was clean and comfortable in early august, and there is a nice sandbar. There is a phenomenal ice cream shop called pepporina cow in walking distance.
We found our accommodations to be very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It was close to a state park, shopping, restaurants, and attractions in Port Huron. We would consider staying there again.
8 because there was no kitchen, I didn't realize this until the day before we left. My fault for not researching the property better. Other than that, it was very nice.
My husband, adult son, and I had a lovely stay. The suite is cozy and comfortable. The beach was exceptionally nice. We enjoyed the gazebo as it offered shade as did the trees near the beach. Best sandy beach on Lake Huron we have found!
Fun at the lake
The apartment was very clean and well-appointed. Beautiful view of the lake from the yard; It is just minutes from Lake Huron State Park. There are local restaurants and small stores only minutes away, and it is only a short drive to Port Huron, with all larger town amenities.
