The house was as described. Space feels smaller than pictures make it seem, but it is plenty of space for 8 people. The lower level bedroom is near the laundry and you can hear the well pump when it kicks on. You may want a white noise machine, if this kind of intermittent noise would bother you. The loft area has plenty of room, but is plenty of space and gets kind of warm as you would expect of that space, if you're not using the ceiling fan. May want to bring an additional fan to help with that. The house needs more plates and bowls as there aren't enough of them for 8 people, but overall the kitchen has the items you need for cooking your own meals. Including a blender, coffee maker, and toaster. Switches in the house were well labeled too.The house looks recently updated and the view from the deck and patio below of the lake are indeed mesmerizing. The outdoor shower was not turned on so I would not count on using that. The fire pit was nice and we got some wood from a local roadside stand. The house had a stand-up paddleboard that was fun to use and also a peddle boat. You can get a pontoon boat through the host if it's available. We didn't rent the boat though.I brought some kayaks, explored the nice lake and had a great time paddling around. The Dublin General Store has a good variety of items and even a little pharmacy and is about 15 minutes from the house. Manistee was fun to explore too but we were too late to get stuff from bakery there.

We loved the house’s floor plan and it’s location to our plans. We understand not wishing to have extra holes in the woodwork, but there were no places to hang our clothes in the downstairs bedroom or enough places for towels after a shower. Speaking of towels, the towels in the basement room were not clean. They had been put away dirty. Because of the remote location, communication was delayed. But the host was always prompt to respond to requests. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return (as we have family in the area) We would recommend this house for the lake enjoyment

Everything was excellent, could have used some potholders and a hand towel in the kitchen (so minor!) but the sunset was beautiful, beds were comfy, lots of space inside and out and very quiet. Can't wait to revisit with family in the warmer months!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with three adult couples. We each had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The home is very well maintained and clean. There was plenty of space in the spacious driveway for our trucks and snowmobile trailers. We look forward to our next visit! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Super cute and clean cabin on the lake. The water was nice. It was quiet. The ice cubes were fun, as were the colorful kitchen lights. We would return! Our kids had space to play.

Husband and I brought our 3 grandkids, ages 16,13, and almost 12. Stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Everything was wonderful! We rented the owners pontoon boat for a day and the kids enjoyed that. The lake is a lot bigger than we thought and it was great to have the pontoon to explore and look at the other lake homes. Kids went out in paddle boat, had fires at night, watched Wimbledon, and played some games. Highly recommend! Hosts were wonderful!
