A Sabbath Invitation… Our lovely, little lake house in the mountains of North Carolina has a beauty and stillness that fills you with peace. A family spent Thanksgiving trout fishing in the nearby river, a couple celebrated their anniversary with massages at Eeseoloa lodge, and a pastor settled into stillness for a weeklong silent retreat. We hope this will continue to happen. What occurs in a space matters. You can feel it when a space has been prayed in for years and years. That’s why chapels, cathedrals and sanctuaries feel so sacred to us. We want others to join us in praying, playing, resting, loving – Sabbathing – in this space. So, please consider our invitation… Will you join us in filling this little, beautiful lake house with loving energy The mountains are covered in blooming rhododendrons in June. The air is cool and dry in the summer. The lake has a small beach for swimming and a beautiful golf course. -Full bath with towels
-Full stocked alley kitchen (pots, coffee maker, dishes, etc) including dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer.
-Large deck with grill, two deck chairs and loveseat.
-Queen sized bed with linens -Sleep sofa (queen) with linens (living room can be made into a private space with curtains)
