The Lake Haven Cottage sits back a little from the road which gives you privacy & a feeling of being up north. There is AC for those hot nights & a furnace for those chilly evenings. Sit outside & have a BBQ on the patio. This cottage is located in a friendly neighborhood just 3.5 miles south of downtown Lexington. If you walk past 3 houses, you are at Lake Huron and close to the beach! This cottage has everything you need including books and games!

Stayed Aug 17, 2025Very clean, nice house. Had everything you would need except salt and pepper which is totally fine!!! It was so nice we went during the week and had the beach to ourselves!! Already booking for next year.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025We had a great time at the lake cottage. Plenty of space and amenities. Weather was perfect and we got to swim in Lake Huron all day and every day. There is a relaxed feeling about the area which makes it easy to unwind

Stayed May 23, 2025It smells like a moldy basement, cobwebs all over. Placemats were super dirty. It said two bath with the tub/shower icon and really only had 1.5 baths. However the half bath literally had a sign that said do not “poo” or you will be sorry! What?!?! The back two bedrooms had no power when we arrived and the home was freezing at only 60 because there were no batteries in the thermostat. Our husbands fixed the power at the breaker box and we purchased batteries to turn the heat on. The second bathroom the toilet would not flush!!! We had to use a bucket and fill it up repeatedly throughout our stay just to flush. We ran the dishwasher and it backed up into the sink and smelled terribly. We also purchased dish tabs because there were none there. The bones of the house are super cute but the pictures make it look much lore charming than it is. We felt like we went camping vs staying at a lake home. Don’t do it. We did communicate our issues but really did not want to be bothered with people coming to fix the problems. No one offered any type of solution other than to disrupt our stay. So we are left unhappy.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024The house was absolutely amazing and everything we needed was there. The neighbor was quite and perfectly set on the lake for one of the most beautiful sun rises. The weather was the icing on the cake perfect every day. I will definitely be back.
