Stayed Jul 12, 2025The house was spacious and housed our group of up to 12 folks comfortably. The deck was our favorite spot. It was easy to access the dock for swimming and we took advantage of that every day. A few complaints about uncomfortable beds specifically the single queen (?) bed upstairs. I do think more than one fan should be included since the house was not air conditioned with exception of the bedrooms. Overall everyone enjoyed the house and the location on the lake as well as close proximity to Ticonderoga. Would definetly rent again.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025From the moment we reached out to the owner, Shelia, I found her to be warm and welcoming and gracious. We needed a place of retreat to celebrate our daughter's wedding at a nearby venue, The Barn at Lord Howe Valley, and we knew we wanted to also enjoy the lake and its serenity. The house is large and comfortable full of fun toys, like kayaks and floats and board games. And the outside space with a large deck, fire pit and extensive seating allows you to enjoy the view with plenty to-do options. The house faces due West in August so the sunsets were magnificent. Even the moon rise was brilliant. And the property manager, Mary Lou, was responsive and helpful. You can tell that many happy memories have been made here. We hope to return some day!

Stayed Jul 19, 2024We’ve been renting this property for 4 or 5 years now, and it is always an amazing time! The owner and property manager are friendly and helpful, and the house is perfect for our group. It’s a quiet area, and the dock access is amazing. We already booked again for next year!

Stayed Jul 27, 2024The house is gorgeous and the lakeview is magnificent. We brought kayaks and fishing gear and lots of beer. What's not to like? Town of Ticonderoga is nearby and convenient for picking up whatever we forgot or needed more of. Our 3 grandchildren all enjoyed the large bunk room upstairs. There are air conditioning units in every bedroom and fans in the living areas. They all got used a lot! Temps in the upper 80's and sometimes low 90's. There is plenty of firewood for campfires. We had one almost every night. Bring marshmallows! Kids enjoyed the basement when it rained. There are pingpong and darts and foosball and a large TV down there. Day trips were fun as well: Fort Ticonderoga is worth the entry fee and has beautiful views of Lake Champlain. We also visited Burlington Vt. It's a great town with lots to do and see. Not too far away! Overall, we had a wonderful trip and if we can get our schedules to coincide next summer, we would like to return.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023We had a great time. The location is great-right on the lake. Ticonderoga is the quiet side of Lake George but we really enjoyed visiting Fort Ticonderoga and drive up the Mount Defiance. It was good house for family of 8.
