The Watersedge of Lake Geneva is a beautiful and fun waterfront home with spectacular lake views, breathtaking sunsets and is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! Travelers from around the world have flocked to the Watersedge for decades because of its location on the water, proximity to downtown Lake Geneva and the historic charm that the property offers. It's within walking distance to three restaurants and bars and overlooks the Geneva National Resort and their three championship golf courses.

The home has over 3,500 square feet of fun that includes six indoor gathering places, 7 bedrooms (most with sitting areas too), a lakefront deck, a stunning rooftop deck, a private yard, private beach and a large private pier where you can park your boat(s).

It's located on the south shores of Lake Como in Lake Geneva which is a quiet, non-crowded lake that is approximately 9 feet at its deepest. It's the perfect lake for swimming, tubing, boating, waterskiing, fishing and more.

For those lucky enough to stay for the fourth of July, you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the Geneva National fireworks display from the comfort of your own vacation home.

The home features 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths and sleeps up to 18 people. It has a great floor plan spread out on two floors and is perfect for families with kids as well as adult groups of friends and family.

There are three first floor bedrooms and four second floor bedrooms. We have a pack and play and high chair available, if needed. There's so many places to gather both in large groups and in small.

There's a beautiful 1st floor living room that opens to a game room. There's seating for 12 in these rooms. The game room opens to the large deck overlooking the lake with a BBQ grill (we supply the propane.) Beautiful views can be enjoyed from both of these rooms. The game room has a gaming table and a bookshelf full of board games. It's the perfect place for kids to escape, and adults too!

There's a fully stocked kitchen on the first floor with two full size refrigerators. It is completely modern with brand new granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances and everything you'd need to prepare a meal with your friends and family. From dishes and pots and pans, to blender and crock pot... we have it all there for you! The dining room table has 10 chairs plus two benches that can be pulled up for additional seating. There's room for three more at the breakfast bar adjacent to the table and there's a television in the kitchen, as well.

There are three bedrooms on the first floor including the Master Suite with a king bed and private bathroom, as well as two bedrooms, one with a king bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. There's also another full bath and a laundry area with full size washer and dryer on the first floor.

The house continues to the second floor with a cozy reading loft at the top of the stairs and into the family room with large picture window overlooking the lake and Geneva National Golf Course.

The family room has a huge selection of DVD's, a Wii video gaming system with games, as well as a game table. There's also a wet bar with microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker as well It's the perfect place for kids to get away or other groups to gather and enjoy the view.

There are four bedrooms on the second floor including one with a king bed and two twins, another bedroom with a queen bed, as well as one with two twin beds and a also the family suite. This suite has a queen bed, two twins and a private bathroom.

There's also access to an amazing roof top deck. It's here you will find the most beautiful lake views you can image! The home overlooks Geneva National Golf Course and it's golf courses across the lake so the view is second to none!

The home has been professionally decorated throughout and the soothing color pallet and mixture of textures is warm and homey.

The house was built in the 1880's and was used by notorious Chicago gangsters in the 20's and 30's because of its secluded lakefront location and close proximity to Chicago. This house has been referenced in many biographies including those of Baby Face Nelson, John Dillinger and George Bugs Moran.

The home has been updated throughout and offers all the modern amenities you'd expect from an upscale vacation rental, while keeping true to its historic charm. Relics from its past can still be seen in the home today including the counting table, where money from local bootlegging and gambling operations was counted and sorted, has now been converted a rustic dining room table.

The crown jewel of this property is the lake and you can access it from a staircase off the lakeside deck and into the fenced flat yard with two large picnic tables and yard chairs. You'll also find a private beach and a large L' shaped pier. We have rafts, 2 kayaks, yard games including Corn Hole Toss and Bocce, as well as plenty of sand toys and a small fire pit.

Feel free to bring along your boat, jet ski, canoe or sailboat to use while staying at the Watersedge. If you'd like to arrange a rental of a boat, let us direct you to a local marina which will deliver a rental boat to the private pier at the property. The piers are typically in the water from April-October, depending on the weather. There are two restaurants on the south shore (where we are located) and three on the north shore. You can float your boat to a restaurant or bar and dock it. It's a fun way to travel.

The Watersedge is located just three miles west of Downtown Lake Geneva and all the shopping, entertainment, theaters and restaurants it has to offer. You'll find this to be the perfect location, less than a 10 minute drive to downtown, but far enough away to avoid the congestion. It's the ideal home for couples, girl's weekends, families, team building and adult groups of friends.

If you're interested in golfing this is where you'll want to stay! We overlook Geneva National Golf Course that is located on the north side of the lake and are just a short drive to the Grand Geneva's Brute and Highland Courses; Hawks View's Como Crossings or the 18-hole par three Barn Hollow. There are courses for all levels nearby.

There's plenty to do within walking distance of this home, as well, including three restaurants and lounges. The French Country Inn is just 5 houses away and features the Getaway restaurant. They have fine dining as well as a bar menu and outdoor seating on the lake. The Mars Resort and Piano bar is about a block away and is one of the most popular places in town. They have a great Friday Fish Fry, incredible burgers and sing-a-longs around the piano most weekend nights. In the summer months they have afternoon entertainment on many Saturday afternoons on their lakeside deck.

The Lodge Geneva National Hotel has an incredible restaurant, Crafted Italia and The Deck Bar (with a giant fire pit) that are just up the hill on Hwy 50. They serve great food and offer entertainment on most weekends. You'll enjoy being able to walk to all these restaurants and lounges without ever having to start your car!

The local resorts have year round activities to keep our visitors busy all year. Winter is a great time to visit, as we are located near two ski hills, have ice fishing on the lake, great cross-country skiing, ice skating, Winter Realms (Ice Castles), and sledding less than a block away.

Autumn is a beautiful time, as well, with gorgeous foliage throughout the area including breathtaking views across the lake. There are also orchards for apple picking and many fall and Halloween events to enjoy. Spring, too, is a great time. With the ice gone, Lake Como and Geneva come back to life! There is a strawberry and blueberry farm for picking up the street and plenty of other fun seasonal things to do and see.

You'll instantly feel at home in our clean, comfortable home. We provide towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, cable tv, wifi, dvds and board games - all the amenities you need for a relaxing retreat. A high chair and pack and play are available, as well.

For larger groups, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Watersedge West is located on the same grounds as this home with its own private pier, private beach, private yard and lakefront cabana overlooking the lake. When groups rent both sides, Watersedge West will be given access to your rooftop deck which will allow guests to flow between both houses. It's only during those times when both homes are rented by the same party that guests will be able to commingle. The houses are separated by a garage with a rooftop deck above it. The two homes are spaced further away to provide privacy during your stay.

Sorry, no Bachelor, Prom or Graduation Parties Permitted as well as other events that exceed our maximum occupancy of 18 people.

Please note that early check in and late check out are subject to availability. If approved, the first hour is complimentary and additional hours are $30 each.

Beautiful view of Lake Como! The three common spaces worked perfectly for our 13 girls. The spiral staircase was very easy to navigate to the four upstairs bedroom and two baths. There were separate refrigerators for beverages and food. The bathroom/shower right off the kitchen was conveniently located for the two bedrooms downstairs to share in addition to the primary bedroom on main floor had it's own full bathroom. The unit is attached to another rental that was also occupied during our visit. We were promised six parking spaces and the guys next-door were so kind to adjust their cars to accommodate us.The rental is full of history and it was very interesting to everyone. The owners were great to work with, quick to answer questions and accommodated a need after our stay (as someone left something behind). We would definitely stay there again!

We had the absolute best weekend getaway at this beautiful home! It was the perfect setting for our group of 8 moms to reconnect. The house was spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The views were absolutely amazing, and we spent so much time just taking it all in. On top of that, the communication with the host was excellent—very responsive and helpful. We all left feeling happy and relaxed. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Weekend family trip for my mom's 82nd birthday. This is a beautiful house. Very spacious, well stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean and a ton of charming touches. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. We walked to Mars for dinner one night, and used the kitchen to make dinner the other. About a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva. We stayed in January so can't speak to the outdoor amenities but it is right on the water and would probably be fantastic in the summer. Thanks for a great weekend!

Amazing stay at a beautiful home right on the water. So much fun -- our second time enjoying the house for a family weekend. Comfortably accommodates a large group (we had 13 I think)... and the place is so clean, so interesting, and just so conducive to creating wonderful family memories. Definitely loved the enormous dining table, the relaxing outdoor space, kayaks, and incredible bedrooms and bathrooms. Loads of room, games, ample kitchen space and appliances, and a gorgeous deck and grill. A short 5-minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva, a short walk to restaurants, and the scenery is great. Fantastic communication with the host and all of our needs were taken care of. Definitely hope to stay here again!

Awesome house with lots of space to spread out. Wonderful location at the end of the road with beautiful views of Lake Como. Fantastic table for games, and we had so much fun with the kayaks and fishing off the dock. One thing not specifically mentioned (that I could find) in the listing is that the stairway to the 2nd floor is a spiral staircase. The upstairs is lovely, with a huge gathering room, along with the bedrooms and baths. All in all, a wonderful house for our group of 10 adults!

This fit our group very well. We had a small plumbing problem that was addressed quickly and remedied. Thanks Ali and Steve! The beach area was very shallow for many yards out. This made a relaxing time for parents watching children. Also, a nice supply of life jackets made it possible for even the six and seven year olds to kayak on their own near shore. We found the kitchen well stocked and the table large enough to seat us all together, a grandmothers dream!

Overall we all thought it was a great place with a fascinating history. Too bad we couldn't see the closed off basement :( The other issues we had were the beds were too soft and lumpy. I ended up on the couch. I was uncomfortable with my 3 yr old grandson using the spiral stairs and my overweight brother found the stairs had to maneuver. My 6 yr old nephew slipped 2X on the stairs. There could have been more attention given to detailed maintenance. Light bulbs were burnt out, wall sockets didn't work, tree saplings growing near the house and in the bushes. A tool to remove seaweed from beach would have been helpful. Also an outdoor front porch light would be useful.
