Stayed Nov 15, 2025This place is AMAZING!! The Host is Wonderful and flexible!! All you have to do is grab your stuff and leave! My daughter and her friends absolutely LOVED the house, fire ? pit, and the dock!! I will be staying at this home again!! AMAZING stay!!

Stayed Dec 26, 2025The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. Overall we enjoyed our time at the lake but as a former cleaner myself I was very disappointed about that.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Wonderful, peaceful and welcoming home. Reese Retreat is as soothing as a visit to grandma's. The lake is very relaxing and quiet. The road is a bit winding and long so you will want to hit the grocery store first. We had a very nice stay.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025This is a wonderful property on the shores of Lake Hartwell. Immediately upon walking in, the house was cozy, inviting, and felt like home. The decor and dishes all drip with charm. If you are looking for peaceful relaxation with a gracious host, this is the place.
