Very happy with everything but that it was somewhat misleading. We thought we were getting a single family house not a finished basement. Still quite happy with our experience. The owner went above and beyond with accommodations. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The place was clean, the location worked out great for us and the scenery was beautiful to come back to every afternoon. Barbara thought of everything to make our stay even more comfortable with welcoming us with snacks and drinks in the fridge. It was very thoughtful! We will definitely be coming back in the future.
This is the first time I've used VRBO. We rented this property because of a last minute invite for my girls to play in the softball world series. The property was just as described. The owner had lots of snacks, games and goodies in the fridge. We were very pleased with cleanliness! We pushed the envelope with guests from the softball team coming over but the owners were beyond understanding. The property is in the basement of the house so we could hear them (nothing our fan couldn't tune out) and they could hear us. My 7yr old especially liked the Frozen Uno game they provided. I would definitely recommend this property.
The property was great, and the lake side made it better. The owner made sure we had lots of amenities and even provided snacks and some food for our 8 days in town. On first sight this is a great little place, there's only a few things that I would fix. The ceiling needs insulation and more heating. You can hear everything the people upstairs do and say. It wasn't too bad as they don't walk around a lot or get loud, nothing to keep me away or awake. Communication with the owner was just right. She answered promptly and made sure our stay was just right. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
It was way better then a hotel owner made sure we were ok and had everything we needed fully staked frigerator basket full of snacks basket full of games if you have kids hot plate make breakfast BBQ Grill fire clean fresh water
We found this place quite by chance and my son and I loved the three days we stayed here. The accommodation is in the lower level (like the basement) of the house with both the living room and the bedroom providing a great view of the lake. The best part of the property is the wide backyard that leads to the lake. The owners are very friendly and took great care to ensure we were comfortable. They had left the refrigerator very well stocked. There were a lot of snacks too on the small 2-person dining table. The owners have a canoe and a rowboat and we used the canoe quite a number of times. The lake has a lot of lilies though, a lot it close the property and navigating past it into the open water was also quite fun. The property doesn't have a proper kitchen as such, but it does have a microwave, a toaster-oven and a hotplate, with a gas grill and charcoal grill outside - all of which we used. I think we will consider visiting this place again around fall.
