Very nice ?
This is a lovely lake house near so many other places and shopping. The house was clean and had what we needed. We had fun lounging on the deck and lake toys. The bathrooms were exceptional. Rayna and Paul were lovely and great at communicating. If you are bringing a dog, do get the rental agreement specifics.
Perfect place for my family to vacation to get some kayaking in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we appreciated all the seating for lots of people. We didn't get to enjoy the beautiful outside furniture as much as we would have liked because of the heat, humidity and rain, but it is a great deck area. There are lots of stairs to get down to the water, but we are all in good health and had no problem with them. The paddle board was fun since none of us had tried that before. The only issue we had was there was nothing in the welcome book about having to leave used linens in the laundry room floor when we left, and we didn't get the message the day before we left telling us to do so. So we feel bad that we didn't know to do it. I would recommend adding that to your book to make sure guests know your preference in case they aren't good about checking their app messages like us. We had a really great stay.
We had a wonderful time while at this property. We really enjoyed the lake and outdoor spaces. The indoor spaces were also very inviting. Thanks for a great getaway.
Our family really enjoyed the privacy and quietness of both the street and the water access. Ample space to spread out, walk the dogs, and spend time outdoors.
We needed a nice short, getaway to catch- up with some friends that was not “too far away” plus relaxing. We enjoyed playing board games, chilling out, making a bonfire, and relaxing by the water with everyone. Only downfall… it was way too short of a time together!!! Perfect place for all ages:)
Great for relaxing and enjoying the view of nature.
We enjoyed spending time warm weather. Had a great time ! ?
Really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at this property. Was able to get the rest needed over the holiday with the family.
We had a wonderful time....this definitely a do over....very clean....the Host was wonderful ?
I rented this for the week of Thanksgiving and was pleased. The pictures are as they are advertised. LOVE the air tub! Thanks again!
Clean ,Peaceful and summer would be a blast with water activities! We highly recommend!
We had some great weather to enjoy the watercraft items. Lots of stairs from house to dock; a consideration for older guests.
We have family on the lake and needed a house to stay. It was smaller, well stocked, and clean. The paddle board, kayak, and paddle boat go alot of use but the water is to shallow to swim. Overall it was a nice house for the price and we had a great time.
This home was a joy! Such a peaceful spot to retreat from the hectic pace of everyday life. This quiet spot on Lake Norman allows you to soak up the beauty of nature all around. Our kids loved seeing the frogs that jump around the property. The house has everything you need to relax and unwind.
Stayed for a week with our teen/adult children and had so much fun. The water is shallow but deep enough to float and stay cool! Used all the water toys. Great, quiet location with a relaxing back deck. Close to stores and restaurants and a 35 min drive from parts of Charlotte. Host was extremely responsive even though we didn’t really need much!
Was a little apprehensive about the place on first site because concrete pad was muddy and house and gutters could use a good pressure washing but the inside of home and back deck were very clean and pleasantly up kept. We read the reviews about the cove being shallow but we were thinking 4 foot shallow which would have been fine for our teens to wade around in. However it was only one to two feet deep. The kids did enjoy the paddle board and peddle boat which they used to get to deeper water to swim. The owners were very responsive and nice. Our only reservation about renting this house again would be because of the depth of the lake which is completely out of the control of the owner.
A nice place to stay on a quiet, very shallow cove on Lake Norman.
