Lake Forest Glen Gem: Updated 3BR End-Unit near Tahoe City

The listing claimed 2 bathrooms at the top. In reality it has only 1 shower.

The location of the property was great; walking distance to the beach and 5 min drive to the stores like Safeway and restaurants, and a pool and tennis court in the premises. The property was nice and clean. We visited last week and the weather was perfect. We had a good stay!

When we checked-in into this town house the house looked quite clean and cozy. But there was no warm water in the bathroom. The water was very cold, no way to take a shower in this extreme cold in late December. We have adjusted the water temperature on the heater. Then, it turned out that the refrigerator was leaking and the top shelves were completely filled with water. I was constantly wiping the shelves. The last straw was when I saw a mouse in the kitchen. It first ran one way under my feet, then the other. After that, my children and I could no longer stay in this house. So we took off 2 days before the check-out date. As I was told by property manager after I texted him, they having area wide mice issues. How come nobody informed us about that?

Pretty clean unit, but we reserved a unit with King size bed was not there.

The kitchen was very clean and had all the necessary equipment.

This was a perfect stay, close to Tahoe City and Palisades. Very quiet location. Everything we needed to cook in the evening.

This is our second time staying here. It’s a great family place with easy access to different slopes and property management is very responsive. Recommend!

The property was well appointed, clean and well located. There was no TV remote control and no instructions on how to open the flu in the fireplace. It was rainy and we had no TV for the kids to watch. When we called management, they were ineffective communicators and unhelpful. They actually hung up on us! However, they refunded some of the charges, so that made it better. It was a good stay.

It is a great location for us and close to all of the attractions we like to see while in Tahoe. The lake is just across the street with a nice little beach.

Beautiful property with everything we needed for a family with young kids. Short walk to the lake, pool, and pickle ball.

The only thing was only 3 wash clothes, should be at least 6, and maybe more bath towels. Would stay here again.

Being foodies, the kitchen was a bit tight for more than two people, but it was well stocked with the proper utensils and the gas stove was a bonus! The location is perfect--less than 5 mins from TC and a short walk to the Skylandia beach. The property manager O'Neal Assocs. was very accomodating and helpful. We had a comfortable stay , all the things needed were provided . It was close to many nice beaches which we visited . Highly recommend.
