Lake Escape's Barefoot Bungalow

If you're even considering renting at LKN, consider this wonderful home. My college friends and I got together for our annual gathering. If the area didn't have so much to do, we would have been more than content just staying on site - too many options. The hosts were incredible - accessible and responsive. Don't overlook this stand out property!

House is very well equipped and we had a great stay.

The house was very cute and cozy. We enjoyed the dock and beach area each day of our stay. It was nice to have a newer dock in good shape with railings for my smaller children. Everyone really loved the “Garage Gaming area and downstairs area with board games. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals in the house so the spices and extra items came in very useful. The house is in a quiet cove so we were able to paddle board, kayak and swim off the dock easily. We brought our boat and docked it for our stayed as well. The driveway was plenty big enough to maneuver the boat and trailer which was a relief! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

Great house, great location, great hosts!

We came to Lake Norman to celebrate Christmas with family who live very close to this property. During the day we were mostly at there house - but when we came home our 2 boys ages 16-21 stayed up in the game room each night and had a ball. Best part - we couldn’t hear them because it is in the garage!The house has literally everything you could want. We ran out of doggie poop bags - and they had extras! We did laundry while we were there and there was detergent in the laundry room. There is even complementary firewood for the fire pit. We definitely recommend Barefoot Bungalow and hope to stay again.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Property was extremely clean and well decorated. The game room in the garage was fun for the 9 & 12 year old that were staying with us for a long weekend. Home has a ton of space. Kitchen is fully stocked. We flew there so it was nice having shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was also coffee, paper towels and toilet paper. I love when there are separate makeup wash cloths. It is a nice touch. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept better than I have in a long time there. It was just so peaceful. The boys used the kayaks 1 afternoon and we built a fire another although we forgot to get marshmallows. It was also a convenient location for us and everything was close by. Jessica was helpful and communicative and we loved the link to the welcome guide. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Lake Norman. Thank you!

One of the easiest rentals we’ve done. I was visiting with my family and my mom for a wedding. Mom is elderly so the fact that most everything was on one floor was perfect. The house was beautiful and the location was excellent! The host was extremely responsive and even brought out some fishing rods so the kids could enjoy the lake. S’mores by the fire pit capped off a perfect long weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Bungalow. The house was spotless, extremely well-equipped and the extra spaces such as a game room and additional living room on the lower level allowed for more than enough space for our family. The owner thought of everything and was always available for questions which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this property for your visit to Lake Norman.

This house was amazing! The location was perfect. Hosts were great! The house was exactly as listed and the property was fantastic. We will definitely book again and tell all of our friends and family.

Such a special place. Had a blast with friends and family. Epic ping pong matches at night with laziness at the lake all day! Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing place for a lake holiday!

Place was very well decorated, clean, and inviting. My wife and 3 boys loved the location. It rained all day one of the days,so the game room was a lifesaver!

The house is very clean perfect location. It was nice gathering with family and friends. Had fun in the game. Room host are very kind. Will be back another time.

The beach was so perfect for my kiddos to play in the edge of the water, and the house was so great. The hosts have really thought through everything, and supply everything you need to stay comfortably. Great experience with the hosts as well. Will book again next year!

This is a gorgeous property. Jessica is a great host. The welcome guide covered all the bases and made our planning easy. The spacious house and all the great outdoor spaces made our time together special. The property has all the amenities you could want. We already reserved for next year.

Beautiful property and location. Very convenient to stores and restaurants in Lake Norman area. Our family loved the game room, kayaks, paddle boards and dock. The interior of the home is gorgeous with everything you could ever need for a great stay on the lake.

This was our third trip using Lake Escapes at Lake Norman. We have stayed at a different property each time. This was the first time we stayed at Barefoot Bungalow, and like the other properties, it was a beautiful house, with all the comforts of home. The views of the lake could not be beat, and the ammenities they provide are great. We also love the fact that we can travel with our dogs. We will definitely be back again!
