Lake Escape * 40 steps to beautiful beach

Our stay here was fantastic!! The cottage was perfect for our trip. The cottage was comfortable and perfect for visiting! Beautiful view of the lake and close to everything near the harbour. Definitely coming back again!!

The house was well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised that the basics for our stay were provided. We had a great stay and Tom was very responsive. I would stay again!

A very nice place suitable for a large family. Waterfront view and just a few steps to the beach right out front. Walking distance into main strip of town too. Excellent for our purpose of a wedding nearby.

What a beautiful place! We walked everywhere. Lovely modern accommodations made our stay in Gimli a delight!

Great location, easy walk to main street. Exceptional access to beach. Lots of off road parking space. Spacious interior, lovely deck, property fully equipped with everything you would need. Owners were very responsive when messaged and did everything to ensure our stay was everything we wanted and needed. Would come back again.

The property was great. The kids loved it. Clean. Being right next to the beach was amazing.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing and more than we had imagined. The home easily accomodated a group of 7 adults. It was nice to have a bar area with a fridge near the patio for easy access to refreshments. The patio area was large and had lots of seating; we spent a lot of time out there!! The house was definitley set up for entertaining a group of adults, but I could also easily see bringing my family (two young boys) here as well. Being so close to the beach and several blocks to the shops and restaurants meant we could walk everywhere we needed to take in most of what Gimli had to offer. It was an a solutley perfect stay and we hope to make this an annual trip!!

Everything was good

We love staying at this cottage! The cottage itself is spotless and the bed were so comfortable. They provide absolutely everything you’d ever need for a great vacation. Tons of room for everyone in the open concept living room and eating area, and a great deck with lots of furniture to sit and take in the beautiful lake. It’s seconds from the beach and minutes away from the town of Gimli. We’ve stayed here twice and hope to make Tom’s fabulous cottage our annual home away from home.

The cottage was spacious, well equipped and welcoming! We all agreed we would rent this property again with our own families, especially in the summer. The beach is right there and the town and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay

Great place

Hard to find a good cabin that has enough bedrooms and dining space for a family of 6, and this cabin fits the bill to a tee. Had everything we need, beds were very comfy, great dining table to eat and play games and wonderful living room to socalize. A beautiful view of the lake and tons of great restaurants and shops close by. We went in the winter and the ice fishing village so close is great. Fenced in yard for our dog was very nice. Host there for anything you need.

It was as advertised. Well kept with all the room to stretch out and great location .

Loved the location and the facilities. Ideal accommodation for 4 golfers who all prefer their own bedroom. Only criticism is constant hum heard and felt in all the bedrooms from HRV or furnace fan which cannot be turned off.

My family met in Gimli for the Islendigadaugarinn from Thursday to Monday. We really enjoyed staying at the cabin by the Lake Escape. We spent a lot of time on the big deck overlooking Lake Winnipeg. Everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in. The kitchen is well stocked. It was busy this weekend at the beach with people setting up their picnics next to the fence so it was noisy at times. We enjoyed the people watching so it wasn’t a problem for us. The hosts were very prompt in replying to my questions. Overall a great place to stay for a family reunion.

Our family had a great stay in Gimli and really enjoyed that the cottage was close to downtown but in the more quiet section of the beach. We could not have asked for a better cottage to meet our needs. Tom was very responsive to our messages and questions and was so nice to communicate with. We will be back next year!

We very much enjoyed our stay. There were 11 of us. Lots of room in the cabin and on the deck. Great location for beach use and walks. Our grandkids loved it, what a great family time. We used the fire pit both nights. The cabin was well supplied and very clean. Would definitely go again.
