The house sits on Lagoon Road toward the southern end of Estero Island, a residential stretch of Fort Myers Beach that stays calm even in high season.



What's nearby

🔹 The Gulf beach: a 5 to 7 minute walk, with wide, recently renourished sand

🔹 Little Estero Lagoon: tidal flats that draw herons, egrets and roseate spoonbills at low water

🔹 Lovers Key State Park: just across Big Carlos Pass, excellent for kayaking and shelling

🔹 Estero Boulevard: restaurants, bars, shops and water sports rentals



Good to know: the island is still rebuilding in parts after Hurricane Ian. More restaurants reopen each season, but expect visible construction in places.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for your arrival and mainland errands, and the private driveway fits multiple vehicles. Once you're here, the included bicycles are perfect for the south end.



🔹 Estero Boulevard: the only road along the island, so allow extra time at peak hours and expect tight parking

🔹 Beach trolley: runs the length of the island and is often the easiest way to get around

🔹 Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW): about 40 to 50 minutes by car

🔹 Bonita Springs & Naples: south over the Big Carlos Pass bridge

🔹 Fort Myers, Sanibel & mainland supermarkets: north via San Carlos Boulevard
