Our host has put so much care into her property and she makes you feel right at home with every comfort you could ask for. I cannot wait to return as soon as I can. An extra added bonus is that your host and her crew of helpers are the nicest people you will ever meet !! Yet, another bonus... is how wonderful the property is for dogs !!! Just amazing overall experience !! Thank you !!!!!!
We arrived late for our stay, and it was raining, and the hostess greeted us with an umbrella and gave us a tour of the immaculate home where we'd be staying. She had prepared a thoughtful meal for us so that we wouldn't have to venture out in an unfamiliar area after traveling all day. The home is clean, cozy, and has all the amenities that we need. The home is located in a tranquil rural setting. The hosts have been gracious and accommodating so much, that we decided to extend our stay. We would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for peaceful, modern amenities in a rural setting.
Beautiful landscaping.Well stocked kitchen anything you would need to cook with.Owners are very pleasant and are close by if there are any problems.Next time were in SC we will be staying at Lace Curtain Loop . Your NY friends Dianne& Mike.
We stayed in #3 house. The host Uta was so sweet, she has done a beautiful job of decorating and making you feel right at home. Such a joy talking to her and learning about her heritage. We will definitely be back again to stay.
It is a real pleasure living here. The property offers all the comforts of home. The landlord and his wife are wonderful people who know how to make their guests feel at home. I would more than recommend these homes for future guests. The homes are beautiful and well taken care of. It is very peacefull here and always feel safe living here in the woods of Windsor.
Our stay at 6017 was great! The home was very clean and designed beautifully. We packed a lot of essentials that were already provided with the stay. Would recommend to anyone!
No pictures or words tell you that the location is 3.2 miles off of the paved road. The 3.2 miles is a dirt road worst than the logging roads I worked with in the 60's. We paid for 42 days after 8 days there was a incident @ 2:45 A.M. with fourwheelers in the yard area. Being that we had NO cell service (only Verizon works ) we felt threaten for our safety and left. We had to drive 4 miles to get phone service, to tell the owner the heater was not working he came over looked at it said, I never saw that code E7 before if it continues I will have to get someone to look at it and left. I got on-line and googled the manufacturer and fixed it. So we paid for 42 days stayed 8 , no refund said we could come back and finish our time WHY would we do that we left for fear of our safety why we go back? The owner and the booking company was absolutely no help, I don't expect this to be published!
Our first time using VRBO and we were impressed! The house was perfect for us and so clean. Owners were very nice and accommodating (they had the down filled blankets switched out like we had asked them too (due to my allergies) before we set foot in the house) Our first night they had left us some German fruit bread that was fantastic. The place was very clean and well equipped. Very well taken care of home and looked new. Would definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area. Thanks Bill & Ute! ~Dale and Anissa
This was our second time staying at the Ryan’s while competing at the combined driving competition in the state park nearby and we will definitely have this as our first choice in the future. The home is only about 10 minutes from the competition grounds and it was very easy to make a quick run to the park for night check, etc. Last year we stayed in #6017 and were very pleased with the accommodations - well designed, very well equipped in kitchen and throughout. We tend to cook in rather than eat out at restaurants and everything was there to make meal prep easy. This year due to scheduling changes, Bill moved us into #6020 right next door. This location had just been finished and we were the first guests. It is spacious with 10 ft. ceilings and just as well equipped as our rental of the previous year. Because we were the first to stay in this home, a few things needed to be sorted out (WiFi, for example). Bill responded immediately to any questions or concerns and problems were quickly resolved. He is also very accommodating and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay enjoyable. Unit #6020 was decorated in a very individual style with a mixture of antiques and art objects that made the space very interesting while maintaining the up to date , clean feel of the stay at #6017. The soaker tub was amazing and the light fixtures added a fun flair. Once again Ute greeted us with a delicious meal for our first night. The parsnip soup was outstanding! We also appreciated the landscaping of these homes. Magnolia trees and shrubs lined the borders so even though the “park” appears to still be a work in process, it does not feel like you are driving into a construction site. Our thanks to Bill and Ute for creating this oasis in the middle of rural South Carolina.
This was far more than we expected. The place was fantastic as well were the owners. This place is a real gem. Look forward to next year.
