Tierra Del Mar is a small community of homes 3 miles north of Pacific City on Sandlake Road. Tierra Del Mar is on the Three Cape Scenic Route, off of Hwy 101. The low bank tranquil beach has views from Haystack Rock to Cape Lookout. This is a favorite place for locals and visitors alike.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

    We were very happy to be there. We loved the view and the setting. THAT part was perfect. The bedding and towels were clean, we appreciated that. We understood that a beach house will get sandy and didn’t mind having sand make its way into the home, in fact it added to the appeal. We also understood that the home is dog friendly, so we didn’t mind the extra wear and tear. However, we felt like it may be time for a deep cleaning and a bit of renovation/repairs before renting it. It was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. Honestly, most of the pots, pans and baking sheets were far from clean. Whenever we reached to use them, we’d needed to wash them. The oven was dirty and we couldn’t get the temp to go over 350* for baking. A large garbage can in the garage was full and overflowing. Lots of dust. The carpet and floors were not clean, and the carpet smelled of dog urine. Several window screens were missing. The railing on the back deck is in need of repair and is hazardous as well as the steps to the path to the beach.

    The house and the view are as described. We found a couple branches of pathways down to the beach right from our deck. Some were steep but one was flat enough for someone with bad knees. There is a hose on the deck to help sand down. We had two little pups with us and were happy to see it was such a dog friendly beach. There was enough in the kitchen to cook delicious dinners with the exception of a blender/food processor. Plenty of toilet paper, towels and dish and laundry soap for our weekend! The beds upstairs were very comfortable. The only note for improvement would be cleanliness. The house was clean enough to feel comfortable sleeping in (bedsheets were very clean, toilets and sinks clean) but some areas were dusty, and not as clean and wiped down as they could be. The check in process was so smooth. Lots of communication from the company and door code and wifi password provided beforehand. Overall a great stay and would return.

    A perfect location. Breathtaking view and comfortable, quiet home. Very grateful that pets are allowed at this property. We had a wonderful time as did our dog. Long stretches of beautiful beach to walk with few other visitors.

    The surroundings were beautiful, location was fantastic. The property, unfortunately was NOT clean. There was dog poop in one of the bedrooms and all of our socks and clothing were covered in dog hair from walking around the carpet. Not the worst, but would not stay here again.

    KCP staff are wonderful! The ocean front home is very spacious and has lots of deck space and very close beach access. It works well for my friends and family and their pups. A few more deck chairs and a new couch upstairs would be great! Thanks again for everything,

    We have been visiting la Playa Luna #175 for at least 20+ years and continue to enjoy our stay. The house was clean upon arrival. Kiwanda Coastal is such a great rental agency that provides the great customer service.. See you next year!

    Kiwanda Coastal is great to work with! Great home right on the beach. Easy access to beach from deck. Memory foam beds in 2 of the bedrooms. Very clean. Kids loved it, had their own space in downstairs. In a quiet area. Could use more deck chairs, only 2 for 6 adults.
