This is a really cute property in a lovely hillside neighborhood. It is well kept and family friendly. A few things I would adjust in the home description: be up front about the bedrooms being downstairs. That is not clearly laid out in the description and the stairs could be a problem with persons who have mobility issues. Also, be clear in the description that this property does not have a yard. It says it is pet-friendly but there is no location where dogs can “do their business” without taking them out on a leash.

We LOVED staying at this property. It was clean and well-appointed. The proximity to the train and downtown was perfect. The Evolve team was quick to respond when I had a question. We look forward to our return visit.

This is an additional note to my earlier review; we stayed at this property for two weeks, from 1.21 to 2.3 2026. I wanted to mention that both the rental team and the owner of this property were very communicative and helpful, with quick responses to any inquiries. The owner shipped a coffee maker to the property when we explained that we don't use a Keurig. That was very much appreciated.I'm changing my rating to five stars, as I think the noise concerns we had were fairly minor on the whole and may not affect others as much. Just be aware that there are definitely traffic sounds you will hear in the unit!On the whole, a very comfortable rental for a longer stay.

Overall, we had a great two-week stay at this townhome within walking distance of La Mesa village. It was large, clean and very well stocked, and the upper level living areas were open, nicely decorated and very pleasant. The only reason we give it four stars is that there is a certain noise level that renters should be aware of. There is considerable traffic and a trolley that runs frequently on the major street below the unit, and the noise is audible through the older lower level bedroom windows at night. Also, there were two very loud dogs next door that barked at us whenever we went on the balcony. I'm not sure if that would always be the case, but it was a minor nuisance for us during our stay. Overall, this is a very pleasing, comfortable and large space that makes a nice home away from home.

The house was spotless. Great to have a washer/dryer. Walking distance to stores, groceries and family that live in the area. The only drawback were the air fresheners that gave you a headache the minute you walked in. We found all of them and placed then outside for the duration of our stay to make everything perfect.

We enjoyed the house very much. It was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable which is a must have for me! Location was good for our visit to SDSU for parents weekend.

This was the second time we used this Town House. It nice to know what is available to you when you stay. Everything we needed was there. We made a mistake in entering the door code to many time and had to call a Evole guest contact. Elizabeth answer right away and reset the code for us in minute.

This was our family’s first time ever visiting San Diego and boy was it an incredible experience! The food everywhere was sooo good. The house was just perfect! My kids loved the bunk beds and that the room they stayed in was huge and had places to put their clothes and all their hair and skin products. They had their own bathroom as well, which in a family of 5, with 4 of the 5 being female, is a definite necessity! The home was plenty spacious and had 2 balconies with furniture on each balcony for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Every morning and evening we would open the curtains and enjoy the view. At night the city lights just light up the whole area and makes for such a beautiful scenery from this home. The beds were so comfy. The home was also very clean when we arrived. The home was in a nice neighborhood. I just can’t say enough positives about this place, it was amazing! We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we are in the area as long as the place is still affordable. I think we got a pretty good deal on this place too, which was another plus! Just book this place, you don’t regret it.

We were very pleased with our stay. We stayed here for my daughter's graduation from SDSU. Our party included 2 seniors, 2 adults and 2 young adults and our space was not tight! We walked into a clean house that smelled really nice. lol :) I was happy that there were 2 balconies that we can hangout in during our downtime and that we also had access to the garage. I would definitely recommend this house!

Overall was a perfect spot , easy to get to and easy to check in. Only two things I would say is if you plan on streaming any TV bring an extra device as their Smart tv did not launch any apps. Also the parents bedroom is a bit on the darker side , there’s a lack of light downstairs.

Fantastic home located a short walking distance to downtown La Mesa for restaurants, shopping and access to the trolley and freeway. Great for families with lots of space and amenities. Beds not as comfortable as I would have liked, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was incredibly sweet and so accommodating. Having children, he had all that we needed and helped me with anything I needed. Super understanding of being a busy parent and hectic lifestyle, I felt comfortable and got any needs met with any questions I had for him. The place was very good with everything close by. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful location.

My husband, myself, our adult, daughter and our dog all had a wonderful stay in La Mesa. Plenty of room for all in this townhouse which is within walking distance to Old Town La Mesa which was walking distance. Arrived on Friday and we were able to enjoy the Farmers Market. Restaurants for breakfast and dinner also walking distance. You can grab the trolley into San Diego. Nice view from the balconies and great walks in neighborhood. A little road noise at times w/door open but not a problem when closed. Was nice to have kitchen to make meals.

The house and location are perfect! Warm and inviting with personal touches that make the rental feel like a home. Beautiful view and functional black out curtains in the master bedroom. Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to cafes. Best espresso is at a coffee shop is called Public Square. Very responsive management with excellent communication.
