LA Maison Bordeaux: Celebrating Lifes Pleasures, the French Way

The communication from this property was outstanding from the very beginning. We travel abroad as a family with our two young adult sons. We look to have a space where we can enjoy down time and even cook meals (esp. when we are abroad on holidays!) and La Maison Boedeaux did not disappoint. It was clean, relaxing, had plenty of space and the location was excellent. The property manager was incredibly helpful with ANY questions we had and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. I could write pages about how easy everything was. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Bordeaux if you plan on visiting Bordeaux---which is a city we fell in love with! We would go back in a heartbeat!

The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Having a bathroom in every bedroom is a real bonus. The kitchen was small and made cooking challenging, but we mainly wanted to eat in the many fantastic Bordeaux restaurants anyway. The location is very close to the tram, several first-rate coffee shops, grocery stores, and small local restaurants. While close enough to walk to the historic center of Bordeaux and busy shopping/dining streets, it's quiet and feels like a real neighborhood. The property managers were reliable and helpful--especially when we locked both keys inside after being cautioned to be always take keys with us. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Perfect neighborhood to live like a local. Grocery, Michelin dining, and more are within a five-minute walk.

This property was amazing and perfectly fit our 5 adults and one infant. Having spent 18 days in France, this was our final leg of the journey and we unknowingly kept the best property for last. Our days in the region were full, and yet coming back to the property felt like coming home to our temporary safe haven. This home is beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, spacious, light, bright, and historic in its own right. Check in and check out with Marie on site made our arrival and departure even more personalized and enjoyable. We highly recommend this site. The only wrinkle for us was the parking situation for our large passenger van. We didn't realize that street parking was limited, expensive and first-come, first-serve. We wound up taking our vehicle to a municipal parking lot out of town for a budget rate though it was a bit time consuming and required use of the bus and tram.

Overall the property was nice and the property manager was very nice and helpful.

Beautifully restored old house in a quiet Residential neighborhood. Must take transportation to get to the center of the city and to reach the better restaurants in town. The added luxury of a hot tub was terrific given the chilly weather

Perfect location to enjoy gorgeous Bordeaux!

The location is amazing, good rooms, beautiful kitchen. Our stay was in November so, cold in the city. The house is cold so, please be sure that the hitting is on, by the onwer. Overall we loved staying here.
