Deemed America's Finest City, San Diego lives up to the hype. From beach hopping to riding Belmont Park's seafront roller coaster, there's plenty to do in this upbeat, laid-back La Jolla original village and beach destination. This home is a few minutes walk from the village and La Jolla Cave Store, which takes you through the cliff to the edge of the water.

A walk or bike ride along the shoreline in La Jolla isn't recommended — it's a must. Also on the must-do list: a visit to the Whale Bar at the La Valencia Hotel (two short blocks away) or sitting on one of the many restaurant patios lining Prospect Street that overlook the Pacific Ocean.

The San Diego Zoo, Legoland, the San Diego County Fair in nearby Del Mar (late May to July 4th), the Del Mar Thoroughbred Racing Season (July to August), and the Comic-Com Convention (mid-July), the San Diego Maritime Museum with the Midway, Downtown San Diego, and the Coronado Island beaches and world-famous hotels are all a short drive away. It's playtime all the time in this sunny Southern California city.

Home Truths:
- The minimum stay is 5 nights for at most 6 guests in total, with no exceptions.
- No smoking and no pets allowed on this property or in the home. If smoking or undisclosed pets are brought onto the property or into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per day for such violations.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Parking Details:
- Parking is available depending on size for up to 4 vehicles (2 in the garage, 2 in the driveway.)

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    The location is excellent, easy walk to much of the main drag of La Jolla. Coast walk is right there. The house is in great shape, no issues at all during our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and frequently checked in on us. Even got us in to the house a little early! The parking includes a 2 car garage which is so necessary with how crowded street parking can get. Definitely would stay again.

    I can’t say enough about this property - everything was perfect and it was close to everything in La Jolla Village to be able to walk to. I will definitely stay here next time we are in San Diego.
