Stayed Sep 20, 2025Great location in Bird Rock LaJolla. Nice view of the ocean. You really feel like a local. House was immaculately clean. Host likes to cook so lots of neat utensils and well stocked kitchen.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025This vacation rental is located high up on a cul de sac overlooking Mission Bay and with ocean views. Online pictures probably don’t do justice to the views. Neighborhood is quiet and very safe. We slept with windows open every night. The house was very clean and comfortable and was so restful we ended up staying home and relaxing rather than go sightseeing more often than not. John was always quickly responsive. WiFi provided great internet service. We felt very much at home there for the month of July. Thank you, John.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024John’s place was absolutely perfect for our La Jolla stay! We were traveling with our two kids and their grandparents and we were looking for a home with a great view, good location and a well appointed kitchen. Well, John’s home checked all of the boxes and exceeded our expectations! The view was truly spectacular with an amazing deck for lounging. John was very responsive when we had questions and he provided a lot of extras that made our stay even more pleasurable. I would definitely stay here again when we are back in SD!

It was a perfect location to go to La Jolla Shores, Mission Bay & even Coronado for the day and be able to come back to a quiet peaceful evening, with beautiful views off the deck! Host was very accommodating and available to answer any questions. Would definitely stay there again!
