Unwind at this beautiful 2-Story, 3 bedroom/3.5 bath, 2500 square foot home located in the heart of La Jolla Village. This home offers relaxing ocean views from a private rooftop deck, a patio, laundry, free 2 car garage parking, and a central location for you and your group.

Enjoy coastal and beach style living with everything just steps away. You can walk to beaches, restaurants, shops and much more when you stay with us in beautiful La Jolla!

Please read the entire description and view the photos! Our goal is to provide an affordable, comfortable launch pad to explore La Jolla. This is a home that has been lived in -- which means there will be normal wear and tear.

**IMPORTANT:** The home is located in a residential neighborhood. NO PARTIES and quiet hours are between 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors. A/C, which is rarely needed, is not included in the cost of the home by default.

Ultimately, we hope you treat and relax in this home as if it were your own. Feel free to message us any concerns or questions you have -- we are happy to help!

    Exhaustive rules and rule reminders created an unrelaxed experience. Noise is apparently a large concern in this area. Check in was also a bit problematic since the door code was inaccurate in our check in email. Luckily - even at 4:30 - after the 4:00 check in time, the cleaning person was still there and able to let us in.

    The furniture on the rooftop deck was not completely usable - several holes in the wicker seating that made them unable to be used.The towels were damp when we arrived and there was wet laundry (sheets) in the washer - we ended up moving it to the dryer so that it wouldn’t start to smell sitting in the washer for the duration of our stay.While sitting on the couch we discovered an old bandaid stuck to a throw pillow (not from us!) and an old piece of tortilla stuck to the top of the couch/wall (again, not from us). The doors/locks were difficult. Many times it took several attempts to get the locks to work right and the doors stick quite a bit once unlocked. (Front door, back door, and garage side door). Windows and blinds also stick and are difficult to open/close.Disappointed that the description of the house on VRBO did not indicate that it was a duplex. The signs around the house warning us of noise/disturbing the neighbors and having a complaint filed made it less comfortable to just enjoy our time because we were always concerned about “laughing/talking too loud” or something similar that would cause us to lose our deposit. Knowing it was a duplex with neighbors would have been a factor in our decision to rent the house in the first place.

    The house feels surprisingly large for the listed square footage. We were eight adults and some dogs staying for a week and we were very comfortable. The dining room and the patio table seat eight each. There are plenty of restaurants within few blocks, The sea and some beaches are within 15 min walk. The house is a bit shabby and shows some rug stains, but that is normal for properties that allow dogs. All appliances work and there were no plumbing or electrical problems. Overall a pleasant vacation.

    This house was wonderful and spacious. Very clean and well stocked. It was nice to have garage parking. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Central to great shops and restaurants.

    We were there to drop off our grandson off at UCSD. Having a 2 car garage was a godsend for not having to unload his stuff for his move in and security. The house was spacious and walking distance to nearly everything. The view from the roof was awesome and our friends in the area had no issues finding additional parking near the house. We had plenty of tools to cook, but we just didn’t have time to do so, so the breakfast, coffee and dinner restaurants were awesome. I would certainly stay there again, although I do like to stay up late so the noise restrictions after 10:00pm do impact leveraging the rooftop deck or the patio for bbq outdoors. Communication with Nick was great! The place was clean. We loved each of us having our own bathroom so we could get ready, especially considering the tight timelines. We look forward to using the place in the future.

    Overall, the space was nice and clean. Easy entry once code is known. It was a little hard to find at first due to all the greenery in the front. But the privacy was super nice! In my opinion, all of the rugs should be more secured to the floor, as our group had some folks who stuggled. We did find an ant trail in the room with the 4 twin beds, some of which were in the bed (spraying for ants is a suggestion). Otherwise, this place was pretty awesome to stay at and held everyone rather comfortably! folks who struggle. , gffhhf

    We loved our stay at this property. Our family came into SD for a sport tournament at Del Mar and really appreciated how clean & comfortable the home was. The location was perfect to walk to restaurants or to the Marine Street beach. We really enjoyed having coffee on the rooftop deck in the morning as well. We will definitely visit and hope to stay here again.
