K&W Ranchita - Panoramic Views of Mitre Peak and Davis Mountains

Viewing the dark night sky during a new moon while in the backyard was amazing. We saw plenty of shooting stars. The layout of the house was also perfect. We would also recommend stopping by Vise Coffee. The coffee shop had some art work for sale that we picked up on the way out of town.

Wonderful oasis in West Texas. Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Ranchita has all the expected amenities and more! Ceiling fans, smart TV, corn hole and a very nicely stocked kitchen. The plungie pool was a hit. Thank you for making our spring break with family and friends memorable!

Great place, and a perfect location for The Davis Mountains, UT McDonald Observatory, and Big Bend National Park.

K&W were very welcoming. They provided plenty of information, and were very responsive while we prepared to journey down to the ranch. The check-in documents had all the information you could need. My wife was very pleased with the essentials that were provided in the house like: Shampoo and conditioner, soap at every sink and plenty of toilet paper...yoiu know, the little things!

Place was one of the best rentals i have stayed at. Highly recommended for any Big bend or West texas trip. Great place for a HQ with lots of trails and activities within a hour or 2.

This was our second annual trip to K& W ranchita. Another great trip, the new addition of the plunge pool is awesome! House has our favorite views and always a great sleep!

The owners clearly set high standards with their home, from its appearance to its amenities. The location was perfect for our group, as our activities included Big Bend Parks and Ft Davis Observatory, while providing close proximity to Alpine’s dining. The unobstructed views from both inside and outside the home are unbeatable! The oversized porch swing was a personal favorite spot for hanging with the bunnies during the day and star gazing at night. Would recommend for romantic getaway, solo traveler, or family trip. Respect for the oak tree resting spot.

Sunrises in the morning. Sunsets in the evening with the stars all around. This place has it all. It’s clean and everything you need. A great location too. And the yard was the bonus Our dog totally enjoyed running in the perfectly grass fenced yard.

This house is perfect for multiple families! Very clean and spacious! Not to mention the amazing grass and fenced in back yard. Our kids had the best time playing in the grass. At night we sat outside and saw so many falling stars! Confortable beds. Everything was perfect!
