Stayed Nov 21, 2025Our host Maxine was very welcoming, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The location is superb, very private and with unobstructed views to Whangarei Heads, the sand dunes and beach. The deck was the most used area, we loved sitting under the pohutukawa trees and bird watching, bbqing, and watching the ever changing light on the Heads. We were very lucky with superb weather the entire stay and Ruakaka beach is magnificent for walking and swimming. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need - very comfortable bed in the Master, modern bathroom and the shower has good water pressure. Well equipped kitchen - we enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine. Overall, a very relaxing break away in a beautiful location.

Stayed Oct 24, 2025Fabulous bach!! Very clean, great location. Excellent communication from the host. Bach had absolutely everything we needed. There is a shop just a short walk down the road. And access to the beach just a short easy walk away.
