A lovely tidy little home down a right of way. This was the perfect location to base ourselves after recovering from an unfortunate accident that we had experienced while travelling. We needed the peace and privacy that this house provided. The kitchen is well stocked for those who need self-catering amenities. The beds were comfortable, and the entertainment was sufficient for our needs. There was easy access to local beaches, and the local stores had all we needed for our brief stay.

Carol & Gordy were amazing hosts! Our group booked last minute & they managed to prepare the property for us on such short notice! Instructions were clear & Check-in and Check-out process was a breeze so our group was stoked about that! Upon arrival we were greeted by Carol & Gordy - lovely people! Who even left a bottle of wine for us which we were so grateful for!🩷The property was very cosy and fit perfectly for our small group. We could not stop talking about how spacious the bathroom was, Everything in the home was lovely. Truly grateful at how spotless the home was upon check-in! We made full use of the kitchen which also had alot of the essentials we required for our home-made dinnersLocation of the property was stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed the deck views of the Ruakaka River & it was so close to the local supermarket & beach - super convenient for us!Overall a very lovely cosy place - would definitely recommend & also would stay here again! Clean,tidy, safe and warm.place was great for our two boys. Lots of board games to play and books to be read in between beach play and caves. Spacious enough so that we didn't feel cramped if the weather had turned

We really enjoyed our stay here, Carol & Gordy were so keen to make sure we had everything for our stay. There are some thoughtful touches that elevate it from just a basic holiday home.

Host is generous in supplying basic comforts in the cottage! Really enjoyed our stay.

My friend and I stayed for a weekend. The cottage is comfortable and clean. It has everything needed, even nice pillows. One thing to note is that the front sliding door comes in through a bedroom. There is another entrance one the other side that can be used so it's not a huge issue. I would happily stay again.

What a wonderful peaceful place to spend for 3 days. We where able to explore the beach which was relatively close just a shhort drive from the home. The 2 small shopping areas where within easy reach one was only a short walk from the home and the other was a short drive away. I would give it in our eyes a 5 star rating. We also enjoyed a walk along the river.
