Great beach house, short walk to ocean, great pool with wonderful live oak for shade

Quaint little house that is very close to the beach. Clean and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outside weather.

We had a fantastic time during our stay! The house was so cozy and welcoming and Laurie was very easy to contact whenever we had a question. The little puppy basket was so sweet, our dog felt right at home. We already said we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cottage was very clean. The location was perfect. The pool was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house was very clean and the pool area was awesome. They actually came twice and cleaned the pool while we were there. We grilled out one night and enjoyed the picnic table and corn hole boards. There are lights out at the pool area, which was great. Loved the screened in deck area and the top deck is great for having coffee in the morning. You can even see the ocean from up there. It's very close to the beach. We walked one block to get there. Very quick and easy walk. Location was great. Very quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes drive. Was great to learn the wonderful history behind this house from the book that is there. Enjoyed reading it and seeing the before and after pictures. Our contact Laurie was readily available, although we had no issues. The owner took special care and had everything you could need at the home. Even left us some snacks, which was very nice. I can't recommend this home enough. We will definitely be renting this home in the future. We loved it!!

Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful pristine beach a short walk away. All the amenities of home, comfotable bed, grill, pool and cozy overload all at this southern shores location. A quint gem to end the long days of beach, biking, and exploring the OBX.

Great location in Southern Shores and super close to the beach. The back yard was great for the dogs!

We had a wonderful time! This is a great family spot. The location is wonderful, just across the street. It had games, chairs, a grill and a lovely deck.

Great location. Pool was very clean. It was dog friendly and I didn’t have to reserve from Sat through Sunday.

The location was great- easy walk to beach, quiet street and nice area to walk/bike in. The cleanliness of the property was sub par. Upon arrival our feet were already picking up the debris/crumbs on the kitchen and living room floor. The counter was also covered in crumbs. The bath tub mat was covered in long dark hair and still had sand in it, like it had not been rinsed. The stairs leading to 2nd floor are filthy and covered in hair/fur. This house could use a very deep clean and some upgrades. Dishwasher would be great- surprised in this beach community there is not one. A refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker are needed. The furniture in living room has lost its shape making it uncomfortable to sit it.
