KISS FLOWER HOUSE, the ideal choice for family holidays close to the beach

Stayed for a few days with an extended family and it is well suited for that!

We spend our holidays in octobre in Beija-Flor-House. The whole family (children, adults, grandparents) loved Beija-Flor-House. It is a cosy house with a little garden. It fits perfectly to our family because to every room belongs an own sweet bathroom. The city called Ribamar was cute with all you need, supermarket, cafe, restaurant, butcher, ... . The weather in octobre was summertime!

We were incredibly impressed by the cleanliness of the home and the amenities. Each room has it's own en-suite which we didn't realize were hiding behind closet doors. Each room was cozy and had a balcony other than the ground floor room. The kitchen was well-equipped as well. The property owners were AMAZING! They made sure we understood everything about the property and that check-in was a smooth process even after our flight got delayed. We had clean linens and towels, and having the ability to park our rental safely was the best. The location is immaculate! So much to do and see nearby including amazing restaurants, we ate at a new place every day. They have a binder full of things you can do nearby as well as the story of the home which we loved reading. Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat!

I have nothing but good things about Beija-Flor House as well as about Ana and Mario. First things first, the communication was great from the beginning and Ana's attention and helpfulness was heart touching. I've traveled with my wife and kids (3yr and 1,5yr old) and Ana and Mario had everything we could imagine for a great stay with small kids. Cribs, high chairs, books, toys and even a small slide in the garden. All with impeccable care. For the grown ups, the warm outdoors shower and barbecue made our delight and it was a great way to spend the evenings in a quiet place. The whole place was spotless clean. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds (extra sheets and towels for the second week) and big closets. Very practical bathroom with great shower. Kitchen is big and equipped with everything you can imagine. The location is perfect and you have all utilities at a 2min walk. I grew up surfing around Ribamar so I ended up not enjoying most of Ana's and Mario's advices but I had a look to their customed made book and I would subscribe to every suggestion they made. (I might only add a surf lesson at Ribeira d'Ilhas Pyrrait Surf coach, my father's ?). We will surely be back next year!

The owners take great care to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable as well as personal. The house has all that can be needed for a break as well as well functioning wireless, a folder with loads of tips for travel and exploring and should you need something just ask. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Our main problem with this property is the lack of garden chairs. There are four bedrooms which implies a minimum of four people but there were only two vaguely comfortable chairs. The garden is also very small for the size of the house but it does have a great BBQ. The bathroom for the Autumn room is very small and it is necessary to sit sideways on the loo! The lounge area only has seating for four. It is within walking distance of two small supermarkets and the beach.

We were completely satified with this holiday house. Everything was present, for instance the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipted. The contact with the owners was perfect. An extra set of bathroom towels was desireable. Regards, Bart

This house was our home away from home for our vacation in Portugal. It was all we four friends could've asked for and so much more! We had everything we needed in abundance and the interior was super cozy and always welcoming after a long day of exploring. There was really nothing we were missing! The kitchen was even more well equipped than some of ours, the bathrooms were wonderful (the fact that there was one for each of us felt very luxurious!) and the living and bed rooms were always warm and homely. We enjoyed sitting in the garden when the sun was out or having breakfast on the front balcony by sunrise. It's simply a marvellous, very relaxing house. The location is perfect; you can walk to the beach, drive to the towns around in no time at all and there's pretty much everything you need in walking distance (small supermarket, bar, restaurant, butcher, pharmacy, bus stop, trash bins). Being close to Lisbon and in the center of Portugal, there are a lot of options for day-trips. Ana and Mario were amazing hosts! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome; helped us whenever we needed any advice and provided us with a lot of useful information about their country and places to visit. Even after our stay, they helped us with things and were always very quick to answer any inquiries in a wonderfully nice hospitable way. Being students, we had a limited budget but we couldn't have ever imagined finding a place this beautiful. The Beija-Flor house was definitely the best holiday home any of us have ever stayed at and this vacation will always be a memorable one. All in all, we warmly recommend the Beija-Flor house to anyone planning to visit Portugal - we guarantee you'll feel as much at home as we did!

We have just enjoyed a relaxing 2 week holiday in this well equipped beautiful home. The hosts Ana & Mario are very helpful and kind and greet you personally to show you around. They are contactable via mobile to offer advice and suggestions too. The house is lovely and suited us very well. The village is lovely and has a number of shops, cafes and restaurants to walk to. There are also 2 great beaches within walking distance. I can recommend this house to families and friends. You will not be disappointed.
