Kid & Baby Friendly; Indoor/Outdoor Pool & Hot Tub

Four adults and five kids were very happy with our stay. The cottage is exactly as the pictures look. The cottage was very clean and met our expectations. We were very happy with how well the cottage was stocked with towels, trash bags, paper towels, etc. The cottage had plenty of games for the children to play. The enclosed pool and outdoor hot tub was a big hit. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and the house was just as perfect and charming. The outdoor pool and hot tub are wonderful in winter -- the large pool is essentially globed with a heated enclosure. The bedrooms are sizeable and there is room for everyone! We will stay again next winter.

We had the pleasure of staying at Sunshine Cottage with our family, and it made for the perfect fall weekend getaway! It was our first time visiting South Haven—a true gem. The house is beautifully appointed for families with young children and includes everything you might need for a trip to the beach. The location is fantastic—close to both the beach and downtown—and having access to the community pool was an extra treat. We can’t wait to visit South Haven and stay here again soon!

We stayed a weekend at the Sunshine cottage & had a delightful time. It was clean & the amenities were great for our family & friends. All the small touches like stools for the kids to wash hands & nightlights in the bedrooms & bathrooms made it feel like home. Beds were comfortable & there was plenty of space to hang out together or to relax alone during downtime. We enjoyed taking the chairs & sand toys to the beach for sunset. Well done Sunshine Cottage, we’ll be back!

This property fit our family perfectly. It was well stocked with the essentials. We have stayed here twice now and will keep coming back.

We absolutely loved the house and the location. The house had everything we needed and it was beautifully decorated. If you are coming with young children, the sunroom is perfect with a small table and chairs and a play kitchen. We enjoyed both available pools, but preferred the marina pool because there were less people and we had the pool to ourselves most times. We enjoyed eating at the Lodge, Clementines and Admiral Jacks. We like going to Meijer because we don't have one in Iowa. We also enjoy shopping downtown South Haven at their unique shops. This time we rented a pontoon boat from Blue Water at the marina and that was a lot of fun. Overall, out rental experience was fantastic.

This house had the perfect layout for our family! So many thoughtful touches to make the stay easy with kids: fans in each bedroom, little shelf to set the baby monitor on, plenty of bedding and sleeping options for kids, kid friendly dishware, the list goes on! It was nice having access to two pools, easy drive to North or South Beach, a fun trail by the house that grandma took the kids to explore, and we roasted marshmallows on the back patio fire pit. The house was clean and met all of our expectations!

Great experience! Really appreciate the consideration for guests with small children - I didn’t have to worry about safety (eg stairs) at all!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Liz and Steve's house - we had 3 kids under 5 and it was one of the most kid friendly homes and locations we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well-stocked, and in a great location close to the beach and pool nearby.

I’d have to say this was one of my favorite houses to stay in! The house was beautiful and clean. It was a great layout. It was perfect how it was so kid friendly. The toys were great, the crib room and the bunk beds. It was just perfect. Thank you!
