I did leave a list of concerns on the back of the sheet that the rental company provided me. No need to list them on the review because the house served its purpose but again there was a list of concerns on the back of the rental sheet.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Serenity Lake. The house was clean, beautifully decorated (love the adorable tea set on the beverage cart) with lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed playing card games on the back covered porch but I will have to say feeding the turtles was the highlight of each day. Serenity Lake was convenient to grocery stores, shops, beaches and excursions. The neighborhood also had a small playground for the youngsters. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in GA!

The location near the center of the island was very convenient for visiting different locations around St. Simons as well as Jekyll and the mainland. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We loved feeding the turtles in the lake with the food provided by the owner.

The house and location were perfect! The whole rental process was painless and very reasonable. The house was spotless and well appointed. My wife is an avid turtle preservation enthusiast, and when we stepped out on the back patio, at least 15 turtles started gathering at the sea wall, expecting food! Comfy beds, great gathering spaces with the living room and kitchen. A couple of minor complaints; the master shower is very tiny and there isn't a flat surface anywhere. Shampoo and soap always ended up under foot. I would also suggest for the long term, to screen in the back porch to make it more usable. We would stay out there for a few minutes at a time because the mosquitos were absolutely insane!! Not your fault, but a screened porch would have made the outdoor space much more usable. The only other minor gripe was I wish we'd had access to the garage door opener, would have made unloading groceries in the rain much easier. But I understand keeping track of them would likely be more hassle than its worth. Overall we had a great time at this property and cannot wait to come up with another reason to come stay on the island.
