Overall, the owners are super friendly and we're excited to stay again. The place was clean and the view was peaceful. Plenty of parking, it was quiet, the rooms were larger and kitchen was useful. We didn't get to use the bikes but we plan on using them next time. Recommend.
The property was everything we expected. Perfect for the group we had, 4 adults, one toddler and two wonderful labradors. Stocked like your own home would be, perfect location to everything you would want to participate and enough room for all and then some. Great host, anytime we had a question, she was available with an answer, great communicator.Perfect place to come back over and over.
This home exceeded our expectations. We were 6 adults and 2 dogs - more than enough room for both gathering and private time. The home is well appointed, but even better stocked. Everything you could want for a beach vacation - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and great bikes - which you need to get around the entire island. Also a tow to get everything to the beach - which is a beautiful mile ride from the house. The kitchen was the most superiorly stocked kitchen of any VRBO. Plenty of spices, tinfoil, and everything you have in your own kitchen. And the marsh view is brilliant and the neighborhood delightful. If we go back to Kiawah - we would certainly rent the same home. Lastly, Michelle is a regular, quick and positive communicator. She is a great host.
This home is great! We had my husband, myself, 3 adult children and 4 teen boys and we had plenty of room and tvs! The bike to the beach isn't too bad... right at a mile... same to the Sanctuary and the Nest. Gorgeous views of the marsh, tons of wildlife, and peace and quiet! Decorated well and very clean, well stocked with bikes and chairs, extra towels, and a 2nd fridge! The 2nd washer/ dryer was awesome for beach towels etc. Owners were so incredibly kind and quick to answer any questions!
The house is well appointed . Would stay again . . Only negatives The king bed on the first floor is very uncomfortable , and there is no way to organize the closet with your clothes. Basically lived out of a suitcase. There were 5 hangers .
Lovely marsh views. We have rented larger homes, closer to the beach but really didn’t buy us that much….maybe a pool (expensive swim). We had 10 total in the middle weekend and it worked out fine. Multiple TVs a plus. Interesting generational observation. My wife and I (80+) arrived looking for a “book” on amenities. Our kids knew to look online….and their kids neither needed, expected nor wanted any directions…… Silents, GenX and Millenials Broke a bone in my foot, in surf, so had to leave early. My son and children thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the week. A nice VRBO !
