Kentucky Retreat Near Williamstown Lake!

The hosts were amazing and went the extra mile to provide a comfortable home for us to stay in. The house was beautiful and very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

We loved staying at this property. Host provides everything you can imagine needing for your stay. The bonus of fresh eggs, a jot of honey, and warm, fresh baked homemade cookies made our stay extra special. This is a prime property with a fantastic owner.

The house was adorable and waiting on the countertop were a dozen fresh eggs and a glass bottle of fresh honey. The grounds were filled with fruit trees and grapevines, as well as large rocks and wildlife. Thank goodness for the walking sticks available on the porch, as I needed one to walk the large yard. The chickens were so sweet and I visited them morning and evening. I never opened the front door that a bunny rabbit wasn't in the yard. Bee hives are in the back of the property, so be sure to bring your epi pen if you are allergic to bees! The hostess baked fresh chocolate chip cookies for us on the second day of our stay. I will keep this location in mind if ever I am in Kentucky as no place could be as special. We felt so blessed to be staying on this property with these hosts!

This place is GREAT! Host are wonderful! Very quiet! Well stocked (every thing you need plus some! Country feel, but 5 minutes to the Walmart Supercenter! 8-10 minutes to the Ark. be sure to say hello to the chickens!

Great property with so many little touches provided by our host Mary.-fresh eggs, homemade honey & cookies. The house was roomy with a great front porch, comfortable bed and it was well stocked. Only several miles from town or to the Ark Encounter.

Loved the location - close to Walmart, the Ark encounter and not too far to the Creation museum.Everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The TV was large and the picture was quite good. Loved the eggs and cookies. We could have liked to have some reading lamps close to the sofa as we love to read. We were Blessed and it was a Blessing to be visiting.Thank you

Clean, comfortable beds, great hosts, close to the Ark encounter for ladies conference. We enjoyed the honey, fresh eggs and cookies from Mary and Tony, they’re wonderful hosts. Location was in the county, winding roads and interesting landscapes. We’ll be back…

Such a comfortable guest house right next to the host's house in a quiet rural area. Stocked with everything we needed and much more. Surprised with honey, fresh eggs, and fresh baked cookies! So appreciated the memory foam topper on the bed, just like home. Enjoyed seeing the colorful chickens. Mary was thoughtful and helpful even offering to get us anything else we might need. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area

Mary & Tony are perfect hosts! The guest house has everything you’ll need, comfy beds, ice supply, full length mirror (always nice), well stocked kitchen. And much our surprise, fresh eggs, honey & peach pie. Don’t think twice book this house!

We arrived after a long 10 hr. drive from Oak Island NC. It was almost dark and a welcome sight as we pulled in. Safe arrival into a sweet retreat. A sweet note and a gift of honey and fresh eggs from our host. A place to be still and know that he is God. We were here for the Ark Encounter a mere 7.5 miles from the countryside. So we took our time our first morning and enjoyed coffee on the porch with hummingbirds, a rabbit, the sound of cows mooing, and a church bell ringing. The Ark Encounter late morning, an amazing place, even a little rain and wind storm could not dampen our spirits. upon arrival back home for the evening a special treat of baked cookies by our door. Creation Museum the next day after another pretty morning on the porch. It was also a great place not too far from our stay. Great communication with hostess and peaceful surroundings makes for a lovely place to stay. The house was great with all we needed. I would come back.

Clean, comfortable place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here for the last weekend in July. We visited the Ark and Creation Museum. The Retreat was close by, very very clean, very relaxing. This place has everything you need. Definitely a 5 out of 5. We received a small gift of honey with a sweet hand written card as a welcome gift. Also, a plate full of home baked cookies!!!! You will not be disappointed. If we are ever in the area and need a place to stay, this place will be our top priority.

Quiet, peaceful location a short drive from The Ark Encounter. The property owners were great, the place was clean and spacious, and the property was amazing with great sunrise and sunset views. Far exceeded out expectations! Thanks!
