Paradise Cove on the Lake with Dock and Firepit - 7 miles to the Ark!

We appreciated Donny's quick replies to all questions we had & his willingness to share kayaks, etc. & texts of fish that were the catch of the day by other guests. The location was ideal to be able to get to the Ark Encounter & then get back to the fun activities at the lake (side note - driveway is very steep). Even though we only stayed a day & a half, my family enjoyed hours fishing (both day & night); listening to the sounds of nature around the lake; & watching the boats out on the main part of the lake. Donny is accurate with the amenities description on the site, but I had overlooked the cottage not having a washer/dryer on site. We were on a long road trip & had been planning on doing laundry at the different properties we stayed at. Most of the other properties we had looked at had them, so I had honestly quit looking specifically for that amenity. We made it work as our KY part of the trip was our 2nd to last stop; just something to consider if that amenity is a deal breaker for you (especially if you plan on doing lots of water activities & want to do laundry). I kept the 5/5 as it was not listed & it was my error for not noticing it was not available. Another feature/highlight not listed, but that was a wonderful surprise & certainly added to the value of this location (IMO) was being able to see both the sunrise (looking out to the lake from the dock) and the sunset (looking the opposite way from the dock) - lots of photo-ops :)

It was a nice home with beautiful views. Easy access to the airport. Our family enjoyed our stay very much! A wonderful place to unwind.

Our October visit was amazing! The Lakehouse was beautiful, clean and supplied with plenty of necessities. We, 4 ladies, enjoyed our time not only in the house, but also at the dock, the firepit, and the back porch. Great views, peace and serenity; all the things one needs for a reboot!! Our host was exceptional from prior to scheduling through our visit. Thank you so much Donny

The host was available and responsive before, during and after our stay. Accommodating, welcoming and a kind host. We were looking for a calm and peaceful place and we found it here. Comfy and clean cabin with a great covered deck that we enjoyed. Wildlife visited us daily.

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Space is very small but lives well, the patio and dock are great. Master bed is a little firm so plan accordingly. If you have a long vehicle backing down the very steep driveway is recommended.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay while visiting the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. Our host was awesome in communication. Getting to paddle on the lake was a highlight.

Wonderful for family of 4 - 2 young boys loved back yard. Bunk beds pull out sofa option. Close to Ark. Good communication with owner.

We came to the area for the Ark Encounter and found this place on the lake. Perfect place to stay. The house and dock and everything about it was either new or very well taken care of. Loved the use of the paddle boards and kayaks. Had a great time fishing and relaxing. The lake area was beautiful. Will recommend to friends.

Great updated cabin! We spent most of the time an the large covered deck and dock. The kayaks were fun too!

My family and I really enjoyed joyed staying at Donny’s property. It was well kept and clean on the inside and being able to walk down to the lake was awesome. I highly recommend this property.
