Our stay at this house was simply awesome. Maureen met us upon arrival, on our schedule. She showed us around the house and went through everything we needed to know which made it easier to get accustomed to the home. And then we had a very pleasant conversation to introduce us to the neighborhood and to San Diego. Maureen is a very pleasant person, as well as very accommodating and responsive. She was truly a pleasure to deal with and was very welcoming. Like having a instant friend. The house itself is one of the most comfortable we have ever stayed in during all the years we have used vacation rentals. It really felt like our home and not just a borrowed place to stay. It was actually hard to say goodbye when the time came. We just felt like we belonged. The home stayed cool in the heat of the day and we loved the private patio where we spent most of our time, having meals and just relaxing. The neighborhood is what I would describe as classic, charming southern California. Stucco homes with tile roofs and lots of palm trees. The whole neighborhood was well cared for and there were alot of people walking and enjoy the outdoors. Like a neighborhood should feel like. The little neighborhood business district was a walkable distance away with shops and restaurants. This was our first time to San Diego, and hopefully not our last. And the next time we plan a trip here, Maureen will be the one we call and we will hope that her place will be available.

Wow! Start with beautiful and very comfortable home that reflects Maureen's engaging and fun-loving personality in every room, decorate it for Christmas (like the whole wonderful neighborhood) add breakfast fixings, Christmas cookies, a bottle of wine and so many more inviting touches and you might be almost as good a host as Maureen was.

Our stay in this beautiful home was part of a two-week long family road-trip vacation, and it was a wonderful experience. Maureen was accessible before we even left our home, making sure we were all on the same page, taking steps to address any concerns, and provide tips and suggestions for our stay. She was an intricate part of our first trip to San Diego being fantastic. The Kensington home itself was a treat to call our 'home away from home'. The house was fully stocked with necessities, beautifully-designed, and very comfortable. It was in an incredible neighborhood, within walking distance to Adams Street where there are plenty of eateries, markets, and things to do. We fell in love with San Diego and are already thinking of when we can return. When we do, we will be contacting Maureen for a return stay in her lovely home.

Maureen was a great host and check in was very easy. Great communication all around. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood with easy freeway access. Maureen followed up regarding items left at the house. Again all around great house, location, and communication from Maureen, Eva, and Lily. Thank you for making us feel welcome! Two things to note. If you like to sleep with the windows open you will get freeway white noise. The beds are 1 queen, 1 full, and 1 single with a trundle.

Kensington is a beautiful neighborhood in San Diego Ca. Arrived at the property and was helped by Lily, the homes curb appeal is awesome. The furnishings and interior is in keeping with the overall beauty of this home. Our host was kind enough to provide us with some welcomed basics in the fridge i.e. Juice, eggs, bread, Butter and fresh fruit. The home is centrally located and literally 2 minutes from the 15 freeway which can have you anywhere in the San Diego area in a matter of minutes. The backyard is great for lounging around in the evenings or mornings. Shops are within walking distance and are very neat and inviting. Really enjoyed our stay at this home would definitely stay here again.
