Kendall Yards Home - Stunning views, amazing downtown location

Great property for the family along with great communication by the owners. Would highly recommend this location.

We stayed at the Ohio Cottage for 5 nights in mid-June. What a charming and unusual house! We were surprised to find it was built in the 90s--it has the charm of a 1940s home but is totally modern. Although my husband was born in Spokane and I lived there for several years, we have never really seen the city from this angle. It was fun trying to identify familiar landmarks from this side of town. We wished we'd brought our binoculars. Of course, being close to the restaurants of Kendall Yards was super convenient, as was the access to the Centennial Trail. Movie buffs can easily jog on over (down?) to the Vision Quest house AND the Benny and Joon house. We had plenty of room for ourselves and our two adult children. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious and offered all we needed. We couldn't hook up our Fire TV Stick, but the house offered a Roku with access to most of what we'd have watched anyway. We enjoyed many hours on the patio. Communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. We would definitely stay here again if we travel with a group.

This was such a relaxing, cozy place. The views from the numerous windows are beautiful, especially with the little bit of snow we got. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of downtown Spokane with walking trails and a park across the street. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. We enjoyed the warmth from the fireplace. We loved this place and would absolutely stay here again. Hosts are friendly and responsive.

Another great stay at this property. This house is well stocked, clean and in an amazing neighborhood. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Spokane. It feels like my second home.

Wonderful house in a great location. The views of Spokane are beautiful. We were able to walk to crepes for breakfast and Kendall Yards for dinner. Very clean and comfortable.

It is a super nice location, fun place to walk and lots of good food locations. We being seniors wish we had known about all of the levels, and no way to avoid stairs.Cute houseF

Clean and charming!

The Ohio house is a great getaway/vacation. It’s located in a perfect area within walking distance to everything. The Ohio house is my favorite place to stay when I am visiting Spokane.

Great location, quiet street with plenty of nearby activities! We enjoyed the bikes to ride on the trail and the wonderful hospitality of the hosts. We would definitely book this one again.

The house exceeded our expectations. It fit our family of five plus grandparents very comfortably. The views were incredible from every window. The house was located directly on the centennial trail which made it easy to access many places by foot. They also provided bikes and skateboards to use. Excellent communication and support. We would definetly stay here again!

The house was in a great location. It worked great for 5 ladies to reconnect—adequate rooms and bathrooms with a nice patio to enjoy. The walking path was a great bonus. Elliot and Elizabeth were very helpful when we had questions about our stay. The view at night was especially nice.

Lovely house with plenty of room for visiting. The patio has a wonderful view of the city. There is a very useful laundry room. You can walk to Hello Sugar for delicious donuts! The location is very convenient to everything that we did in Spokane. The people we met in the neighborhood were very friendly. The Centennial Trail is across the street from the house and is a great trail for walking or biking. Liz and Elliot were very communicative and helpful. My family had a great visit in a new city - we highly recommend! Thank you!

Everything about the Ohio Cottage is perfect: superb location, friendly host, & great amenities!

This is our second time staying here. The location is outstanding. So quiet and private but walking distance to Kendall Yards and the walking trails are heavenly.

Each bedroom is very private - views are gorgeous. I do not think I would bring small children to this home because of the many stair steps.

This was our second stay at this home. We felt as if we were coming home. It’s comfortable and welcoming! We would love to visit again just to walk the trails near the house!

The booking was easy and the hosts were great and very responsive. Everything was smooth. The house had everything and all we had to do is bring groceries. The house was super clean and all the beds and bedding were so comfy. They even gave us a welcome gift which was sweet. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the patio listening to the water and birds. We even got to enjoy a beautiful hawk on the branch close by. I am not sure when we will be back to the area, but if we do we will be staying here it’s available. It’s a great place. wel

This place is amazing. The beds are so comfortable! The house is clean and well stocked with just about anything you may need. The property managers were so helpful! The gave suggestions for places to eat and. Checked in with us to see how our relative fared with surgery. Couldnt ask for a better place!

Great location to access the parks and downtown, especially if you like a short walk, which we do. Very little interaction needed w/ the property owners, but very prompt replies for the few questions we did have. Bottom line, we’ll stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We stayed in the Ohio Cottage from December 23-28. The house was well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedding was very nice. The common rooms were small, but comfortable. The owners provided a beautiful Christmas tree for our family and it was appreciated.The owner, Elliott, was responsive to questions thru text messages. The location is ideal with a short walk to the Riverwalk and downtown.

Clean, great layout, thoughtfully appointed, terrific hosts and right on the bike/footpath that goes through town. Wonderful spot!! We’ll be back for sure.

We loved our stay here. My daughter (16) said she wanted to live here within 5 minutes of arriving! A distinctive layout, with lots of windows and a great view; all rooms are beautifully upkept, well appointed and comfortable; and the amazing bike trail is literally outside the front door. We also really like Kendall Yards - great selection of shops and places to eat within walking distance. We'll be back for sure!

This home has a unique character, with a customized design to make the most of each room’s best features. Beautiful windows capture the stunning views. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful touches such as guest slippers and chocolates. Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, peaceful location, but close to local restaurants and amenities offered in downtown Spokane.

We loved staying here. We came from Missoula for the weekend and the location, the park across the street, the house itself were all perfect. Highly recommend!

This Kendall Yards home is situated in a lovely part of Spokane near everything we wanted to do and see. An unexpected night market and music concert just blocks away plus yoga studios, great eateries, nature walks and more make this an ideal location. The home is clean and Liz and Elliot have provided everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. There are lovely views of nature from all windows. Just a heads up to anyone dealing with ambulation or stair climbing issues, that there are stairs to negotiate, a couple flights. However, there is a sturdy smooth banister which made that safe for me. This is a five star vbro and we look forward to returning.

The house looks small from the outside, but is spacious and welcoming. There was not a single thing lacking for our stay. The kitchen has every cooking item we could have needed. Every bed was comfortable. The laundry room is quite large and the washer/dryer in excellent working order. The back patio was our favorite place to sit, and we had a few deer visit during our stay.The neighborhood is lovely, and the owners even provide bikes and scooters for guests' use. Instructions and information are readily available at check-in, and are clear and easy to understand. We loved the many decorative touches as well. An absolute 5-star property and owner.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohio Cottage. It was clean, comfy, had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family, and was most importantly, was well air conditioned during a heat wave of 104°.
