Stayed Nov 6, 2023I was riding the Katy Trail and I just had to ride two blocks off the trail to the house. Expedia info on check in time said 3pm and host’s time was 4pm.

Stayed Apr 19, 2026The good things about the property were the size of the house and the location. The living room and overall space were comfortable. However, we were very disappointed with the condition and cleanliness of the kitchen. There were many ants that got into our food during our stay, which made the experience very unpleasant. The house is also very old, and it looked like the kitchen cabinets had never been replaced or updated. For the price they charge per night, the property is not worth it. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations. We will not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Stayed Apr 2, 2026First, the code we were given didn't work. We didn't have the phone number of our host (all previous hosts have provided their number in case of issues like this.) After being contacted via VRBO, the hosts were able to re-load our code and it worked. Upon entry we noticed a mold smell and saw a large circular stain on the living room rug. The kitchen floor needed to be mopped and the backsplash was unwashed. In one of the bathrooms there was something left in the toilet. Need less to say, we did not stay. I am giving a rating of 3 because they were quick to offer a full refund.

Stayed Sep 22, 2025Work crew stayed here during an out of town project. They were very happy with the accomodations and commented how much nicer and spacious this stay was over a hotel room.The host was great to work with, I would definately book again for a work trip, or even for a family getaway to Sedalia.
