Kanto House - Large Deck and Fenced in Yard - In Town - Pets OK

Clean and quiet, plenty of supplies including coffee and paper towels!

Only had 3 washcloths for 2 people for 2 days. No blinds on kitchen windows.

Perfect place to relax

Absolutely loved the stay here! The online pictures of the house didn’t do it enough justice compared to being there in person! Me and my friends really enjoyed being there and have already discussed the possibilities of coming back in the future!

Perfect house! The house was very clean and spacious enough for our little family of three plus our little dog. Loved the back yard and deck. Brevard is such a beautiful, friendly town. We saw several white squirrels at the house. Extremely close to town and waterfalls. Highly recommend this property. Would stay again if in the area. Also quiet neighborhood.

The kitchen could use a large pot, large skillet, and a cake pan. Every else was there. The free Keurig coffee was a nice surprise.

Great house to stay for a long weekend in Brevard. Comfortable beds & couch, huge kitchen, overall cozy space! The yard is perfect for bringing a pet along & parking in the carport was a nice bonus. Convenient location for all our favorites (Noblebrau, Oskar Blues, Morning Social, & the salvage shop!) and for exploring the area to find new favorites (Love Eat Thai, Quotations, & Sunrise Cafe/Pescado's).

Close to town, very clean and modern. Perfect for two people or two couples

Great fenced in yard for the pup. Nice kitchen, comfortable rooms and full size tv's in each room.

We stayed at the property choosing it mostly because they allowed big dogs. It ended up being the best place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do and it was clean amd comfortable. The dogs had a place to run in the fenced in yard. We will absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location to hike nearby , Pisgah. Very clean and loved the backyard for our dog. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I loved staying here - it's cute and cozy, it had everything we needed, it's in a great location (4-5 minutes from downtown) but it does need carpet shampooing in the rooms and on the living room rug and some bug catching plug ins. One of the rooms smelled so bad of dogs that we HAD to stay in the other one. And then we couldn't fully relax because we were constantly swatting at bugs around ourselves. Those are my only 2 complaints but I would still stay here if we decide to visit Brevard again.

We have stayed here a few times. Location is great. Close to downtown and the pisgah forest. We will be back again!

After my original plans to go to the beach fell through, I made a last-minute change and went to my happy place, otherwise known as Brevard, NC for a mountain biking trip. The Kanto house was a very clean property, with nice, updated appliances, and a clean bathroom. Despite the closeness of the homes in that neighborhood (all the neighborhoods up there) it was very quiet. It was super convenient to town, and a close drive to Pisgah. I didn't take my pups with me, but it has a big, fenced in back yard for them to run had I brought them. Highly recommend the Kanto house!

Very comfortable home and our dogs LOVED the secure backyard and there were even dog toys. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable.

Great location for going in to the town of Brevard or accessing Pisgah National Forest. Great yard for the dog to play in.

We had tickets to hear Keith Lockhart conduct the Brevard Symphony. Rather than board our cavalier spaniel we chose a dog friendly Brbo. KantoHouse was perfect. We were there a short time but the house was very well equipped. Hope to come again so our dog can really enjoy the wonderful fenced back yard.

Check in and out was easy, place was clean and as advertised. Would recommend.

Loved our time in the Kanto House. Perfect location for a getaway to hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway. We saw some of Brevard’s famed white squirrels right in the neighborhood (after driving around the local college and park for an hour!) The kitchen is fully updated, and there’s a docking station for your Nintendo Switch in the living room. Loved the quirky gaming design elements throughout the house. Would gladly stay here again if I ever make it back to North Carolina/Brevard!

Home is exactly as listed. Very nice and clean. Updated and comfortable. Perfect place to bring our dog for a few days of hiking!! Fenced in yard was great too! We will come back again!

Fantastic property. Clean and comfy. Great location in a nice neighborhood close to downtown.

This house was in a perfect location near the end of a cul-de-sac, yet close to town. The large fenced-in yard was ideal for our dog (and the tennis balls and ball throwers were an added bonus). We enjoyed our dinners on the deck after a long day of hiking the numerous waterfalls in the area. One highlight: seeing one of the numerous white squirrels that Brevard is apparently famous for in a front yard one street over.

Nice property with a huge kitchen and comfy beds. A dining table would be nice. Should put blinds in the kitchen. Very small vanity/sink so not for those with lots of sundries. I have more specific complaints but I’d definitely return solo for a short stay.

We only stayed 2 nights but were satisfied with the house and yard. Our dogs were not use to a fenced yard so they stayed on the deck. We never leave our pets alone.We are older and could have used a bath mat in the tub/shower and a hand rail in the shower.

I recommend this stay in Brevard. The check-in process was easy with clear instructions. House was clean. The listing says it is pet friendly. There is a slight dog odor in the bedrooms. This is probably harmless for a pet owner, but for non-pet owners it is noticeable. Other than this, property was nice. Overall, I do recommend this stay for the price.

The house was just as advertised and had a nice backyard for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the outside deck was great for the beautiful weather we had. Close to central Brevard and hiking. Would stay again.

Check in process was a breeze and it helped out so much that they are dog friendly! Our pup and toddler loved running around in the backyard. The house was perfect and we had a great time there!

The location couldn’t have been better, everything was in a 1-3 mile radius. The yard was definitely a huge plus. It’s a cute little place, perfect for a short getaway, it has a fully equipped kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and there was a carport. The carpets inside could use some shampooing though.

House was clean cozy had everything you would need and dog friendly….Very close to town and many attractions.If I had anything to say it would be need more blankets for winter with people from Florida.

I had to wash wet towels and folded up sheets the previous tenant left in the washer

My wife and I and two of our friends stayed here while handling my mother’s estate for about a month and the home was absolutely splendid! Very clean and cozy and the hosts were super communicative and helpful!

We had a GREAT stay during our adventures to peep some fall leaves and we were on a mission to see the white squirrels of Brevard! Mission accomplished! (tip: this neighborhood has white squirrels if you're on the search ;)) Kanto House is a great location just outside of downtown. Short drive to get to downtown and if you're looking for hiking/exploring Pisgah National Forest it's a perfect in between location. Lots of waterfalls in one area! CLEAN and excellent remodeling of this little space. Perfect for our needs. The pet friendliness is a great perk even if we didn't bring a pet. All the items you need are provided, even coffee :). Communication was great. We were there during tropical storm Helene. We came up from Savannah to get away from storm and see our son at Brevard College. We never lost power! Yard was great for dogs. Could not have asked for better location. Praying for the devastating in and around Brevard still going on!!!

Overall a good experience loved the front and back porch. Was a little disappointed about the neighboring Dogs and someone burning trash. But nice house not to far from town.
