Stayed Jan 12, 2024Kaikora seaside cottage RYE Fantastic little cottage based in the heart of RYE, walking distances to all your local restaurants - cafes and stores, just a short walk to the beach which was great as we have young childern and a pooch. Everything you need is right at your finger tips Apon arriving to the cottage it was very clean and everything you needed was there including a spa which was a huge hit for the kids. There is also a cute little fire place for them chilly nights which was cosie. Out the back plenty of room for the children to kick around a ball and just have FUN! All we had to do was put down our bags and start our hoilday. We did have few issues to which I called Getaway property Management and they were right on it, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and the issues where rectified to which this was done in the first 24 -48 hours. Also being on the weekend they still made sure all our calls and messages were answered. I understand things happen, but they were a delight to deal with. Would definitely book again in future.

Stayed Sep 28, 2023We had a lovely stay, my teen enjoyed the double bed with own TV, we played some board games, watched a movie, enjoyed the spa, bbq and had everything we needed for a long weekend including washing machine & line. Information needs updating (coffee machine is not pods) back door needs fixing, fridge was off when we arrived and hard to find where alarm was located (worried about activating alarm but it was off) Traffic was a bit noisy at times but great walking distance to eateries, beach walks and shops.

Stayed Apr 15, 2022The outside and part of the inside needs to fixed. The webs need to be removed and the dirty hand prints needs to cleaned. The kitchen and, toilet and the shower were clean. the frame of the beds were dirty. Linen needs to updated then the house would be fantastic because of its location.
