Stayed Feb 13, 2025The property is fantastic and as advertised. My only issue is that the management company requires you to go to their office to pick up and drop off the garage opener and sign documents even though you sign documents electronically and the house has keyless entry. Please eliminate two needless trips.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This mid-century modern house is very spacious and well equipped. Greatmountain views from the living room, dining room and kitchen. It was a hot weekend over 110F each day but the multiple AC systems worked well and kept us cool at 75F. The downside as other guests have noted is that the AC gets quite loud as it pumps a huge volume of air through. The multi-head shower in the master suite worked OK but water flow is restricted a bit by calcification in the heads due to 'hard water in Palm Springs. Casita was smaller than photos suggest, but our adult son enjoyed his independence and direct access to the backyard and pool area. Plenty of umbrellas to provide shafe from afternoon sun. Checkin and checkout requires a visit to the property managers office which is several miles away. to the backyard and pool. Checkin checkout re

Stayed Apr 1, 2024Very nice home, beautiful view of mountains and good early morning and late afternoon sun exposure. Located in a beautiful and quiet area of Palm Springs. We really enjoy going on evening walks through the neighborhood because the homes are so beautifully lit ant night. Everything in the home was as to be expected. Older review comments are pretty accurate as well, only minor ongoing issue is the water pressure is a little weak, but sufficient. Property manager was veryresponsive to a couple of very minor issues.

Stayed Apr 22, 2019The house, pool, yard and neighborhood all are wonderful. It all looks exactly like the pictures. It’s all very calm, quiet and serene. The views are breathtaking. However, like other guests have complained - the water pressure is basically non-existent making the “wet-room style walk-in shower and soaking tub” useless. This was very disappointing. The air conditioning air handler and huge intake vent are in the living room so it is VERY loud and very annoying when trying to watch TV or entertain in the living room. You have to turn up the TV very loud to hear it. The AC does cool the house nicely, however one has to wonder why this area was chosen for the main unit. One last thing, the pots and pans for cooking are old and worn and need to be replaced and they need a new set of tall and rocks glassware. There’s a built in Nespresso machine but it did not have power during our stay. But all in all, the location was prime, the outside space was spectacular and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Aug 15, 2018Good location and nice private yard/pool. But...rain shower nozzles did not work in either bathroom, so had to use hand held nozzle. Insufficient silverware and cookware. A/c in living area is very noisy so that it is not pleasant to watch TV. Very disappointed with this rental.

Stayed May 3, 2018We’ve rented this property in the past because it’s a beautiful home, with great views, a very nice pool and in a great neighborhood that’s quiet and away from it all. This visit disappointed somewhat. The air conditioning did not work well. The issue was a concern during our last stay but only seems to have gotten worse. We were not able to get the temp below 80 even after carefully following the instructions. The water pressure in the showers is terrible, literally a dribble in the master bath. There were loud people on the property next door on one side of us and construction happening on the other side of us on a Saturday, all day,, yet we received a call from Oranj staff telling US that they’re “noise sensors” were picking up activity, while we were literally napping, reading and trying to quietly relax by the pool during all the banging and construction noise next door. We found that a little insulting. We originally liked this house because it’s in a quiet neighborhood away from noise. It’s a beautiful home and we really like it, if the showers and air conditioning can be fixed, we would probably stay there again.

Stayed Apr 2, 2018This house has a great location, in a quiet neighborhood of gorgeous estates, and was exactly as photos depict. We felt very at home here for a week. Loved being able to walk to town and come back home to a lush, nicely landscaped, private yard, clean pool and nicely updated and spacious interior. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The only complaint was the showers. While gorgeous, they are a little complicated. Not sure we ever really figured out how to use them properly. Would stay here again.

Stayed Nov 22, 2017Although overall we did enjoy our time in Palm Springs and the house overall was nice - basic rental. There are a few issues you might want to be aware of before you rent: There was no hot water in the unit when we arrived. Thankfully maintenance came the next day to adjust - seems there was a power outage at some point which in turn effected the water heater, the sprinklers (which were also an issue but fixed) and some fans & lights in the rooms. Master Bedroom: We were unable to turn the light on or off that was part of the overhead fan in master bedroom (which meant that our first night we had NO fan because of the light) again fixed the following day. Lack of light in any of the bedrooms or the entire unit itself, so you may want to bring some extas. Master Bathroom: A number of lightbulbs were out One of the Master sinks had no running water & again no hot water Master shower - both overhead shower heads had little to no water and the side water heads did not work - they were clogged. The maintenance crew fixed one of the shower heads and but not the other’s and the sink finally had water flow but no screen to control it. Guest Bedroom (across from 2nd bath) Overhead fan light would not go on. So lack of light in room. Again it was fixed but light was still an issue. Front Hallway out of the two wall sconces - one did not work - no light Kitchen: Items in kitchen - i.e.: glasses and plates where NOT clean when we arrived, but were on the shelves. The placemats were so dirty we had to clean them before use. The refrigerator has water/ice on the exterior - BUT when you try and use the water - the warning indicator comes on that says REPLACE WATER FILTER - so really you cannot use it to drink from !!! You would think this would be a routine replacement. Outdoor back yard Minimal to no light in the evening - a problem and very dangerous Outdoor sprinklers went on 2 times in the mid afternoon while we were outside, reading and with our computers. So both books and computers got wet. The sprinklers not only water the grass areas but the seating areas/ lounging areas etc. Front Ext. of House: Minimal to no lighting in front Difficult to find light switch for the ext. light around garage

Stayed Aug 8, 2017This was a great property in a great location and we really enjoyed it. The home was clean and all the amenities were in good working condition (except for the range hood over the stove, we couldn't get the light or fan to turn on). All new kitchen and bathrooms were nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, but way too much bleach was used to wash them. No one wants harsh chemical bleach smell or residue on them after showering! The saline pool was perfect. We were not thrilled with the nearby home construction noise, but thankfully they didn't work on the weekend. There was a beetle infestation happening, which was not fun but it's the desert, so there's not much one can do about that. All in all a great home and would stay there again because of the great location and peaceful neighborhood away from it all.
